Chapter 4: Level 3 dungeon

Stone block is still lowered. No need to push anything.
Nothing happens as Zim hops into the tomb. For everyone's surprise because when Tinka landed there last time block raised.

"Maybe it only works once?"

Well Zim is a summoned creature so maybe it wont work for him?
Nyx has Zim return to the far side of the stone block and he will step on the same stone.

"Be careful, Nyx. I'll cover you."

I will fly into the room and hover over the doorway, keeping an eye on Nyx, ready to respond to anything that might happen.

Tinkara fly into the tomb, then Nyx walks in and immediately as he is in stone block rise again

Criella is going to the magic tube that seem to have a telepathic effect. She will see if it works now.

Zim sits on the floor as stone block rises, while Criella is looking into the tube. She feel the same telepathic connection established again and soon she and Nyx realise the connection is between two of them. It's new experience even for Nyx who is only used to believe seening your communication partner is essential.
The same connection is between Tinkara and Criella, but Criella could only communicate with one person at a time. Nyx knows that wery well, he is used to telepathic communication to be 1-to-1.


Criella also realize that that tube has a sort of strange effect: be it a magnifying glass int the tube or a magic, but she see the devil's mouth on a medallion through the tube very well: it shows serpent. That's until Zim takes off and fly up to see the medallion and cover Criella view to it.

Adventurous Criella suddenly understand what she thinks the situation is. She says out loud and telepathically, "Using the view tube I can guide which tiles to step on I believe. Right now, I believe 'Serpent' is the correct next tile. I need to have Zim move away from the medallion so I can see it clearly too."

Nyx command his familiar to move out of the way and stood on the serpent tile, forwards left.

familiar move and Criella could see the serpent again. In a moment she notice serpent moves left and a door picture appears instead. Communicating with Nyx she realize that picture moved the moment when Nyx stepped on the serpent tile.

Forward left again to the door tile, repeat as directed

Viewing Criella says out loud and telepathically, "Serpent picture is gone and a 'door' picture is present."

Criella awaits the picture to change.

"Nice work, Criella! Thank you.

Nyx follow telephatic instructions to continue stepping the right sequenceWhen the final tile in the sequence is stepped on, the following things all happen at once:

The sarcophagus opens.
The stone block sinks into the floor, creating an open passage to the east.

As Nyx looks into the sarcophagus he see it contains the fragile bones of an almiraj, as well as its spiral horn that gives a magic aura revealing it is a magic item

"Whew! At least that's one down."

With a sigh he relays his finding to the others I do not like always being forced disturb those that are entombed here. But we need every advantage we can gain if we are to survive this. Nyx uses a bit of magic to grab the horn with a spare bit of leather. After recalling how some of these items have had nasty side effects he is cautious about toughing it directly at this point. Zim flies over and helps Nyx search the interior for anything else.

Curious Criella will abandon her magic tube position and enter the room with a short flight to land on the center. She views everything as she folds up her wings. "All that can be obtained is best." She appears to be not trusting to step on tiles.

Further investigation of sarcophagus reveal it's is made of pure gold and weighs 75 pounds. It seems to me moved lately (in the last week) and then returned back. You could guess this is probably how Vatoris died as his last message was that he will "do some tests".
