Chapter 4: Level 3 dungeon

One combatant falls. If GM allows, her normal action would be to use healing word on the fallen Paladin, while keeping up her other spells. If not then speak a Word of Radiance. Tante Lude has an intuition that the chain balances damage between them and we will have to do enough damage to make both fall before either stops fighting.

1 miss, 1 crit. 34 fire damage total.
You create three rays of fire and hurl them at targets within range. You can hurl them at one target or several.
Make a ranged spell attack for each ray. On a hit, the target takes 2d6 fire damage.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, you create one additional ray for each slot level above 2nd.

And yes heat metal on chain were nice trick! It does indeed damage both of them
Fire seems to make a better effect. The flesh in the armor smokes and so does the other creature. They continue attacking, but their attacks seems to be slow as the flesh keeps burning from the heat coming from chain

Checking bodies you figure out if cleaned you got two plate males in good condition.

A four-columned portico juts out from the far wall, beneath which a stone sarcophagus rests in a wall recess. Four ceramic frog masks hang in niches around the sarcophagus. Beneath the masks, humanoid bones are strewn across the floor. To the east, a large carving of a tentacled frog-monster squats above a shrine. Offerings lie on a shelf before it. Four rectangular frescoes adorn the adjacent walls.
While looking into the tomb you hear someone mowing the grand stairs behind you and turning around you see....

She is glad she manages to come out of this minor battle looking good. She just recently cleaned up after being drench multiple times. She always keeps up with her appearance. She has already used prestidigitation to freshen up. Of course, is still maintaining all three scents. Only dropped hers a moment.
She notes the coming of the Half-Elf and seeing how this situation appears to be a non-combative, she heard saying, "Aren't you a sweety." She currently possesses in her hands a pair jeweled handle scimitars from a very recent battle. Other than the weapons in hands she looks like just walked out of a restaurant to days air. Her huge bat wings are totally folded up currently, so she doesn't have that full succubus look. There is no mistake that is a winged female Tiefling.
She fully covers up how she is feeling about killed Vesuvius who is laying upon the floor with very little of his head intact. She really isn't sure how the others are going to do about dead him either. Being relatively new, she has no say so.
She is wearing breast plate over a simple shirt with trousers & low soft boots. All of the clothing and armor is of strange make. She sports silver ring on her right hand with dragon wrapped around it, a fine linked silver chain necklace, pair of teardrop silver earrings, silver bracelet on her right arm with dolphins swimming around it. This is accompanied with a leather wineskin & a narrow leather weapon girdle.
She also has a dagger in her right boot sleave. On her narrow leather weapon girdle is a pair of scimitars. One on her right side is silver. She also has a leather component pouch, yen wand in holder, & a leather pouch too. She has a leather backpack sporting heavy wool bedroll, longbow wrapped in a leather bag & 2 full leather quivers with arrows that are white shaft & blood red feathering.
Zim (monkey familiar)

"It is wonderful to see you alive and well. I will let you meet the others." The still attractive cleric gave him a strong plate armored hug, smelling of perfume and the scent of a woman.

She smirks and says with a touch of sarcasm, "Staying a while?" while holding attractive pose which demi demon (succubus) does so well and often. She does this mostly out of habit as her tail sways about.
She adds on, "This might be a fine moment to take a break and chat some with ... " She leaves it open for Tobias Moon to fill in. Short rest and she can regain her Action Surge. She obviously has no damage on her.
Four frescoes line the east wall of the tomb, two on each side of the shrine.
1. A frog-like behemoth uses its tentacles to help the Omuan people knock down a mighty statue. In the foreground, an old woman wearing a frog mask tosses five coins from her hand as though sowing seeds.
2. A frog-like behemoth wraps its tentacles around a giant crocodile as Omuan hunters stab the crocodile with their spears. In the foreground, an old man wearing a frog mask holds a bug up to his open mouth.
3. A frog-like behemoth with four Omuan hunters riding on its back finds a small boy in the jungle. The hunters seem elated. In the foreground, a young woman wearing a frog mask holds a knife in one hand and a headless chicken in the other.
4. A frog-like behemoth wallows in a shallow pool as Omuans offer it urns of food and treasure as tribute. Cracks in the fresco obscure the head of the human figure in the foreground, but you can see that it grasps a lit candle.
-A 6-inch-tall stone statuette of a froghemoth, which weighs 5 pounds and has an inscription on its base in language you don't know
-A copper bowl containing rat bones
-Four dead cockroaches
-A green wax candle with a salvageable wick
-5 gp

"Second, there a really direct correspondence between these frescoes, the objects on the altar, and the masks on the niches by the sarcophagus. Clearly this is also a puzzle for us to solve. My guess would be that we should put on the masks, light the candle, and take the statue, candle, coins, and bowl over to the sarcophagus. May put some fresh food in the bowl. Now, I'm not a very good puzzle solver, so if anyone has a better idea that would be welcome."
"I'll be back shortly."
I take the pentagonal skull from the skeleton, then fly out and up to the pentagram room and take the square skull. Once I have it I will return to the group.
Anyone read that differently? Anyone think we should propitiate the frog god now before we need his aide? Anyone think it ties in with what Tinks is talking about?"
Despite her words, Tante Lude collects the statute, the coins, the candle, the rat bones, and the dried insects in their offering bowls, as always in this cursed and tricksy place using her telekinesis to do so rather than touching anything.
