Chapter 4: Level 3 dungeon

Since I can't respond telepathically to Nyx, I shake my head no. I cast Mage hand and attempt to move the lever with it. I am staying in the tunnel.

Extra noisy Criella steps a bit back from the party so the continuous noise from the skull doesn't bother them.

You manage to find way to position your mage hand next to the hand of the figure that is holding the level but can't seem to be able to move the lever.

Nyx
Nyx see magical hand on the lever.

Since I'm unable to move the lever, I will shrug my shoulders to Nyx and start moving back towards the rest of the group.

(If my summoned celestial is still there -- it lasts a full hour) "I can try have the Holy Avenger here pull the level if we wish. Then we can deal with what comes. But this summoning only lasts an hour so we will need to do that rather than explore much further."

"I could also use Misty Step to teleport into the cylindrical room, since I can see it through the window. If what's there is beyond me I can teleport back."

Annoyed Criella holds back a ways and constantly watches as she is forced to listens to the eternal Skull's dribble.

Tante Lude humbly petitions the Celestial One to lead the group back into the crawlspace leading to the room with the lever and waits in the crawlspace while the Celestial pulls the lever. She waits for the inevitable trap or explosion.

Celestial approaches the figure who is holding the lever already.

Figure does not move an inch and do not let celestial to pull the lever. Celestial reaches for the lever and turn it down, but the construct reacts immediately pulling it back in the original location. From crawlspace you can't see anything else happening otherwise.

Tante Lude calls the celestial back and another whispered consultation occurs among the group.
