@Dmbrainiac - with the new knowledge of where we are - I think I'll be updating some of my original gear ideas :) Any limitations on what normal gear is available - are you just running the normal 15gp limit, but we are being gifted the gear instead of purchasing it.

I assume any unspent funds are not being given to us. Too bad none of us were deployed military with there kit on them :)

BTW - great posts from everyone - really enjoying the discussions.

Yeah, just spend your starting funds and those are your gifted equipment. They'll also give you some other supplies like tents and such.

Nice. Sounds reasonable that they would give us stuff that's useful and not some stuff that was never heard off in their area

How do we want to device those among us especially the potions

Two pup tents, five full waterskins, 4 weeks’ worth of rations, mosquito netting, healer’s tools, 6 vials of lesser antiplague, 3 lesser elixirs of life.

I do have medicine but no healers kit but if anyone has more that +4 in medicine they should have it

I've got Medicine at +4, but was going to buy Healer's tools as part of my starting gear.

I had purchased the standard Adventure pack - which comes with 2 weeks rations and water skin. I'm assuming the 4 weeks rations and 5 water skins are in addition to anything we purchased.

Anyone pick up a Repair Tools or have the Crafting skill?

I have almost any skill there is. So i have crafting but didn't buy any tools for that :) I needed the money for the thieves tools. But If you have a healers kit then I take the one the elves provide.
I am also thinking that the consumables are in addition to the food and drink we have

Currently on my list I have: Healing Kit and Compass.

Thing I think we might need but I cannot afford yet: Repair Kit

Couple other nice to have: Climbing Kit, Fishing Kit

Probably only need 1 of these in the group. I could drop the crossbow and pick these up if no one has picked up a repair kit.

Hyped to get to Chapter 2! My posting frequency is going be 1 post/day and excited to see how it all turns out!

For equipment, I’m untrained in crafting but can buy the repair kit.

I also have the healing plaster cantrip, which I can use to replace a healer’s kit. Based on the spell’s text, looks like anyone can use the healing plaster I create for their medicine checks

I also have a grappling hook and 50ft. rope

@cellarnovice - Cool cantrip :) Are you going to spit in the dirt like Keyleth on CR cartoon? :) Do you have Medicine skill?

I'd spread the healing potions out a bit. Our two casters can both heal - but you never know in the moment.

@Kristian - you should take at least one of the healing potions for yourself.
