Hey, I am new here. I just started playing DnD 5e just like a year or two ago but I don't think I play often enough to scratch that itch haha, so I decided to try pbp and this forum is the one most people recommended me!

I am not sure what to say about me, I am a gal from central Europe, I am a big fan of anything storytelling, I study history, my hobbies include reading, playing videogames, listening to music or just hanging out with people and I make a mean gin and tonic.

So, here I am, I am looking forward to meet you all and hopefully get on with you well.

Good quality gin. The specific type doesn't matter, I prefer the simple things in life, like London dry, but that's up to you.
In tonic the quality doesn't matter as much, what matters is that it's fresh and fizzy. Tonic from a bottle that has been sitting in your fridge for a month (even unopened) is just not going to be as good as freshly bought.

Both gin and tonic should taste good on their own and they should be as cold as you can get them without freezing them (you can put the gin *in* freezer, but you don't want any ice forming). Even better if the glass you serve it in is also in the fridge/freezer for a few minutes before serving.

Pour the tonic in carefully on the side of the glass to not loose any carbonation. The ratio and which tonic to use with what gin is really more of a vibe game, different people like different things. 1 part gin to 2-4 parts tonic is generally the range you want to be in. You don't want the taste of one to overpower the other.

Thanks for sharing! I have been sloppy about tonic being fresh and chilling the gin so good tips.
