Department of Chaos

Curtis doesn’t see any more teenagers racing around the store! As he recalls, there should only be two more chaos demons running around, and the group has eyes on both. He does see a flustered looking Lucas desperately trying to sweep broken crockery into a trash can. He sees you, and his face scrunches up. His eyes are pleading for you to help with the clean up…

With so much weight, the aisles start to shudder and shake as the Ethereal Squad climbs atop and sets about wrestling the boy down!

Niles lets loose with an alarm clock, that takes the possessed teenager across the temple. A painful, though somehow funny, sound escapes from somewhere deep within the boy. The chaos demon felt that one! It looks set to climb out of the boy’s face and lunge at Niles, when the duo atop the aisle pounce and pin the teen.

He thrashes wildly, and the whole thing starts to shake…

Curtis had dodged a hundred bits of falling debris or more in his time. A few pots, pans and possessed teenagers are nothing for a firefighter of his experience. The two ghost hunters on top also seem to surf their way back down to the floor, largely unscathed.

It’s the two other ghost hunters that take the brunt of it.

Out of nowhere, summer blouses paired with leather jackets wrap themselves around the two ghost hunters. Blinded and fumbling about amidst the chaos, Niles and Jasper get clobbered by blue and white china, shot glasses and Mother’s Day mugs. The day’s exertions were beginning to wear on our heroes!

Luckily, A.J and Abby had sailed down the shelves with little issue, and had kept a firm grasp on the chaos demon! Suitably pinned, the thing tries to crawl out of the teens mouth and make a break for the Grocery section to join its sibling…

The first beam catches the thing in the cheek of its bare, red arse. It floats a moment, caught fast by the beam of energy. The others quickly join, and take special care to not cross the beams this time.

And to marvelous effect, too…

Having not crossed the beams, it’s easy work to pull the thing towards the ghost lock, and force it inside. It squirms, and squeals, and laughs, and begs all the way inside. When you finally get it in and close the door to the lock, you hear mischievous banging coming from the other side.

Lucas, the store manager, unaware of the almost perfect capture you had just carried out, waddles up to the group with a mop and bucket in hand.

"A little help?" he says, but then a woman’s scream breaks out from the Grocery section; where the final chaos demon resides!
