Dirigible says:
Had to check what the second half of the phrase was myself... luckily the GM reposted everything!
Not everything yet.

Noellins says:
Did he? I do not remember that... If so, then Corson's response would be the closest approximation of the response as he can remember... What is the appropriate response? I will try to edit my response, or bring the information back to Lan when he hands the letter over. Something like, The man used your code phrase.
Probably not too late to edit your post if you'd like to.

Oh dear. Someone hold Lan back, please.

How far are we to the road to Endier?

Since the players cannot see the horses, how are they holding up? It would be bad if the horses went lame.

Probably an hour minimum if you want to rejoin the road. The horses have been pushed HARD in the past days, they don't have much left in them. You won't outrun your pursuers over a long distance.

Speaking of, Exhaution for all.

I made edits to the sequence of events since there was conversation between the characters.

Boy, do I hate the fact Animal Handling is based on (Wis). Ride used to be a (Dex) skill, back when this was a proper game! 8]

well... skills really can be based on any stat...depending on what your doing...or even a different skill.
Stay on the saddle could reasonalby be an acrobatics roll for instance.

Also in this scenario what is the roll for? Convince the horse to move? Stay on the saddle? Avoid trampling sheep?

Avoid a lame horse? One has to be able to "read" the animal then do what is best for it.
