DM: I have it in my head that the wall is made of stones and waist high. It extends for a good ways both right and left. We just entered through a gate. Our opponents would have to take the gate or jump the stone wall to surround us.

If you think you've got a good plan to make a stand and you fancy a combat scene I'm up for it. The odds are bad, but never impossible. If you had more than one missile weapon you might be able to settle in for a siege somewhere defensible. Just remember the other PCs have practically NOTHING left in the tank. I doubt there's more than a couple of spells and abilities between them (though I try not to keep track.)

But you can afford one more collective fail before they catch up. You won't be overtaken till the third.

I'm just gonna go ahead and call it, we're fucked and out of options. We're running on fumes, have an overwhelming force chasing us, and our odds of outrunning these guys is too slim to bet on. The odds are just too stacked.

I guess we didn't give those guys the slip at the inn, did we?

If we got a short rest, I got some stuff back, but it would still be very risky...

EDIT: We are on a death spiral. Exhaustion is just going to make it harder...
