OOC:
I (any PC really) take the damage from each on going damage at the beginning of my turn before I act (So you might get KO'd on your turn before you even act) unless the ability states otherwise same for enemy mobs if we dish out ongoing damage and then you attempt to save at the end of your turn. Do I have two ongoing damages on me? If so I'll update since I missed that.

Swatting at the annoying insect, Domitius saw Xanxus struggling and thrust out a hand toward him. His other hand out behind him, he barked out a spell, and a wave of dark energy tugged at the life force of a Hellwasp, flowing through him and toward Xanxus. His minion continued to chew voraciously at the wasp.
OOC:
Targetting Xanxus with Channel Life spell:

Ranged spell Once per battle Attack Target: One random nearby creature other than the healing target Healing Target: One nearby ally Attack: Intelligence + Level vs. MD (make one attack only against the attack target) Hit vs. an enemy: 2d6 + Intelligence negative energy damage, and the healing target can heal using a recovery. Hit vs. an ally: 5 negative energy damage, and the healing target can heal using a recovery. Miss: The spell is not expended.

As I see it, here's the lineup, so I'll roll a d7 for the random nearby creature

1. Hellwasp 2
2. Haguk
3. Hellwasp 4
4. Domitius
5. Hellwasp 5
6. Blackstar
7. Hellwasp 3

Hellwasp 2 it is!

And a crit! 20 points of negative energy damage dealt, and Xanxus can take a recovery.

The hellwasp is blasted by the wave of negative energy. It writhes on the floor, it's stinger twitching. It's almost on the brink of dying but not quite.
OOC:
Sizeable hit. It's staggered AND below 5hp (njohn858 was asking).
Seeing it's friend reduced to a twitching lump on the ground, the enraged Hellwasp(5) barrels down on Domitius from above. It's stinger slides into Domitius upper thigh like a hot knife into butter.

seeing as that brought it below 5HP, I'm going to finish off my turn with a Quick Action trigger of Deathknell and kill it.

Deathknell:
As a quick action, you can drop a nearby enemy that has 5 hp or fewer down to 0 hp. When you drop an enemy using Deathknell, you heal 1d6 hit points. You can use Deathknell to drop a mook, but only if it’s the last mook in its mob and the mob has 5 hp or fewer left.

Seeing as I was already at full HP at the end of my turn, the 1d6 healing isn't applicable.

Still surrounded by a cloud of butterflies, Blackstar begins to march in place, and mime drumming motions. Sure enough, the sound of war drums fills the air.

Hellwasp (2) finally breathes it's last as the Deathknell dealt by Domitius saps it's remaining life force.

Hellwasp (3) again strikes at Blackstart, who is distracted. Fortunately the Hellwasp is also distracted by the death of it's compatriot and stings wildly at thin air.

Back to Haguk for a new round. Escalation die at +3.

Haguk makes a small laugh as the Hellwasp goes down. "Would have preferred to kill it myself, but I appreciate the help."

Taking a moment to survey the battlefield, he moves quickly toward the Hellwasp attacking Blackstar. He tries to get in a swift strike.

Xanxus barks a thanks to the other silverfolk getting in some breathing room. Hearing Haguk's blight he tries to inspire him.

"Dead is dead; revel in the destruction my friend!" he states.
OOC:
Using 'You Set Them Up, I Finish' Command since Haguk triggered it at a good time on his turn. -4 Command Points on his turn. +5 (My Cha bonus) to his damage (so 13 damage total), +2 to my attack if I attack the same thing this round.

Hellwasp 3 looks very much the worse for wear and seems to be flying lopsided after Haguk's attack.

Hellwasp 3 is now staggered. Xanxus are you making an attack this round or is the command the only action you can take?

Xanxus moves forward feeling his body on fire his eyes wild trying to shake it off and press as he lunges at the beast.

Xanxus swings wildly at the air, failing to make anything more than a glancing contact with the highly mobile giant wasp.

The Hellwasp strikes back though, it's stinger probing the half light in search of flesh.

Domitius winced as the stinger pierced his flesh. He put out his hand and a concussive pulse of dark energy radiated from him at the Hellwasp (5).

His minion reared back and lashed out with its claws.
OOC:
Casting Unholy Blast:

Attack: Intelligence + Level vs. PD
Hit: 4d6 + Intelligence negative energy damage.
First Miss: Half damage, and make the attack again against an enemy you haven’t already targeted with unholy blast this turn.
Second Miss: Half damage, or full damage if the escalation die is 1+ and you choose to decrease it by 1.

If that brings it to 5HP or less, I'll Deathknell it and take it to 0. If not, I'm going to trigger my Cruel Racial power and deal an extra 10pts ongoing damage. A normal save (11+) ends the effect.

Blackstar sends sparks flying off the stone floor of the dungeon but does little damage to the Hellwasp which strikes back immediately causing Blackstar to recoil in pain as the stinger finds it's mark.

Haguk screams in fury, having had enough of these beasts. "Return to the hell that spawned you," he yells as he swipes at the closest Hellwasp.

Using Barbarian Rage Adventurer Feat: Whenever the escalation die is 4+, as a quick action, you can start raging for free. (It doesn't count against your normal usage.) This rage lasts until the end of the battle, as normal.

Xanxus connects with the Hellwasp (4) and the resounding crunch leaves him in no doubt that the beast felt it. It yelps in pain.
OOC:
11 damage. Hellwasp is now staggered.
It recovers enough to sting at Xanxus' head in retaliation and Xanxus joy is short lived as he feels an evil needle pierce his neck.

Yeah, both of Blackstar's effects were taken into consideration. You'll all be glad to hear that these things are on their knees at last. All three are staggered and Hellwasps 3 and 4 are both 5 hp or below.
