Avox will simply look around for a sign, or a means of navigating the area.
OOC:
Gonna guess one difficulty, but it may be none. Or like 2 for all I know.

Savi calls out to one of the urchins flitting past, "Hey, kid!" Seeing one of the flock pause and turn his way, he continues, "How fast a route do you know to the [Cantina Name]?"

With a glint in his eye and a disarming smirk Savi dangles a cred stick and adds, "If it's quick and safe, you'll eat real well tonight."

Avox notes street signs, but no map.
OOC:
What would you like your advantage to be?
Dec 4, 2016 11:15 pm
The little Rodian looks up at Savi with a twinkle in his eye and puts his hands on his hips. "A' course I know the Raging Rancor. I can take you there, mister, right quick and safe. My mama works there."
OOC:
Roll perception, Savi, and anyone else who cares to.
OOC:
Savi seems to have made a friend-for-life with his offer. This kid may prove to know many things you might find useful, thanks to that triumph.

Jack, who by this point didn't want to admit he was lost, grinned at the young Rodian's response. "Well, that would help a lot," he said, "What's your name?"

Skent. What's yours? I'm five. You have a furry face.

Jack notices that Skent's friends have stopped as well, and several of them have their eyes, stalks, or sensors fixed on the credstik in Savi's hand.

Savi knows avarice when he sees it...some of those urchins may not be as young as they pretend.
Dec 5, 2016 1:19 am
Jack can only chuckle as he scratches his chin, "That's because I'm half-bantha, Skent. My name's Jack." He'll reach out to shake the Rodian's hand, "It's nice to meet you." He'll look to Savi, wondering if he has any more questions before they can be led to the cantina.
Dec 5, 2016 1:25 am
Skent grins and grabs Jack's hand with his left and starts pulling him off down the street, with a running stream of random monologue. "That's funny. I don't know what a bantha is, but I bet it has a furry face. I wonder if I could have a furry face. Does it hurt? Did you know that rancors are a real thing? They're very big and scary. I'm not big. Or scary. Also I don't like math..."
Dec 5, 2016 1:34 am
With a barely audible chuckle Savi swiftly whips the cred stick into his closed fist and follows after the herd. Smiling at Jack with a "You got yourself into this" look in his eye, he pauses only long enough to make sure the others are keeping up.

OOC:
I'm not really sure. I would have used it for a boost for one of them, but that seems to have passed.
Avox, who is not particularly the friendliest guy, shoos at the children if they step close to him. Watching his allies consort with the youths causes him to shake his head. "Unprofessional." He thinks to himself, looking especially at Jack who is being led. Though he does follow his companions, hoping to get to the cantina.

"Wha-.." Jack mutters, getting pulled along by Skent. He goes willingly, glancing back at the group to catch Savi's look. For a moment he tries replying to Skent with a few quick replies, "They're big, fuzzy b-.. I'm not sure if you ca-.. No, it d-.. Yes, I kn-.." Soon he gives up, just giving acknowledging grunts and murmurs instead.

Bo pulls her hood down lower and scarf higher. She watches the young Rodian in shame and a bit of anger. Another youngling lost. No connection to our home world and culture. Skent's hunting instincts are coming through by hustling and begging. This is the fault of galaxization.. Bo shifts her hidden weapon so it is easy to unsheath.

Skent leads you out of the market and down a main thoroughfare. Vendors and merchants give way to more prosaic shops and businesses. There are fewer people here, and the urchins drift away as they see that there are no handouts to be had. Skent continues his excited chatter all the way to a simple adobe building with a red beast painted on a sign hanging above the door. A generous eye could call it a a rancor, but you might need to squint.
Dec 6, 2016 6:08 pm
Bo stalls everyone as soon as the Rancor is in sight "Do we want to go in as a group? Maybe we entah at diffewent times to not look togetha? Who is negotiating? I would watha stay anonymous. "
Dec 6, 2016 8:10 pm
"That is a good thought." Avox says nodding. "Lets send in Savi and myself first, since he will be doing the negotiating and myself because I want them to know we are armed in case they try to get one over on us." He gestures to himself with a thumb and Savi with his other hand.

"Then Jack, Ada, and Bo come in after. Try not to seem associated with us, and back us up if we need it." He looks between his teammates as he airs the suggestion.
Dec 6, 2016 9:07 pm
"Thank you!" Jack says to Skent, then thumbing in Savi's direction, "Go get paid for the good work."

As a plan is forming in the group, Jack starts backing up toward the establishment, arms out to the side, "How about we walk into the cantina - get a drink if you need to relax - and just meet with this Thessa woman nice, calm, and friendly; Like people sometimes do." With that, Jack will turn and start walking toward the door, "If you don't want to look like you're with us, feel free."
Dec 6, 2016 10:26 pm
"Thanks for the help, kid." Savi smiles honestly at the young Rodian. "You're a life saver." He extends a 20 cred stick to the urchin knowing he's overpaying, but happy to help out a fellow creature in search of a better life.

Looking up from his brief exchange, Savi discovers the group in the process of hatching two plans simultaneously. With a sigh he points out, "Let's not put all our creds in one investment. Bo, feel free to be inconspicuous. Enjoy a drink and keep an eye on us in case we need you. Jack..." Savi shakes his head as Jack spins on his heel and walks into the cantina. There's no point trying to get that one to do anything other than what he wants.

Savi smiles despite it all. Jack's straight forward approach could get them in trouble from time to time, but it also got them through a lot of tough scrapes. He knew if they got into trouble in there Jack would be all over it like a Hutt on a Twi'lek.

Turning to Avox he nods and says, "Let's go."

Skent takes the credstick reverently, "Thanks, mister. I never held this much cred before. I'm gonna go give it to my mom, straight away." He ducks past Jack into the cantina.

Following him inside, you see that the cantina is dimly lit but surprisingly clean. Most of the tables are empty at this time of the morning, but a lone Sullustan sits slumped over at the bar. From his posture he spends far too much time here.

Skent runs up to a tired-looking Rodian who is cleaning the tables and begins babbling excitedly in his native tongue. She looks up at Jack as he enters with a puzzled expression. He is able to catch the tail-end of the monologue, something about banthas.
