I find this to be very fitting for your concept :)

I'll have Jon's sheet updated soon.

I'm opting for the Battle Master archetype for Bughu, and it grants proficiency in one type of artisan's tools. In the interest of being a bowyer and fletcher, would that fall under Woodcarver's Tools, or something else?

Of course, if construction of bows and arrows doesn't require artisan's tools, I'll likely pick Cook's Utensils or Leatherworker's Tools.

I'd place bowyery and fletching under woodcarver's tools

Quick question (now that we find ourselves at an ASI....) are feats able to be used and (if yes) does that include the newest ones from all the various UAs (specifically the race-based ones)?

Feats are totally OK with me. Link the text here if you're thinking of a feat that's not in published material

Awesome. Going with Elemental Adept, for fire damage.

Taking the Tough Feat.

Also, quick call back: Would that wrangling stick I used to check stairs be considered a Quarterstaff and would I still have one?

Okay, I ask because they updated the Redemption Oath and it gives me a new skill at 3rd level. Is this allowed?
