The movement of the mist causes Harmia to shiver as a chill ripples up her spine. She quickly jogs back to the path, attempt to watch and see if the mist behaves strangely once more...

Afterward, she will continue along. This time, knowing that dangers abound this pathway, she will attempt to navigate the trail unseen and unheard.
OOC:
Do I know how much the souls are worth when I use them for XP or currency, or do I have to roll for that?

Also, Natural Explorer:

When traveling for an hour or more...

-Difficult terrain doesn't slow your group's travel.
-Your group can't become lost except by magical means.
-Even when you are engaged in another activity while traveling, you remain alert to danger.
-If you are traveling alone, you can move stealthily at a normal pace.
-When you forage, you find twice as much food as you normally would.
-While tracking other creatures, you also learn their exact number, their sizes, and how long ago they passed through the area.

Rolls

Perception - (1d20+6)

(19) + 6 = 25

Stealth - (1d20+7)

(9) + 7 = 16

The trip isn't too long so that won't come into play, but I'll try to remember that. Also you can determine the value with any of the item item rolls.
The path becomes stairs as you leave the valley. Clouds part and for a brief moment the sun shines upon you. At the in trance to the valley is a stone circle. Some of the stones still stand but most have been slowed to fall. There is a knight sitting on one of these toppled stones he notices your arrival but quickly returns his attention to a small black object in his hands.

From here you can see much of the surrounding country side. a huge stone fortress dominates the otherwise barren landscape.

Harmia steps up to the stones, taking a seat to rest her legs. She addresses the knight, but looks at her swords and tends to them as needed, "What's that you've got?" After handling her swords, she'll inspect the items she'd acquired earlier...

You aren't sure about the history or value of the souls, only that they a feeble and flickering.
Humanity, essence of sanity, stability, life. This is the last one I have, but... I don't think I'll use it... hehe.

"Allow me to take it off your hands, then," Harmia says coolly, "Some of us haven't given up."

He holds out the sprite, Take it.
Nov 16, 2016 3:32 am
Harmia will get up and step toward the man, sheathing her blades as she does. She'll reach out and snatch the sprite from his hands, as though expecting him to take it back at the last second.

"Say," she starts, failing to thank him, "Any idea what these are?" She'll show him the vial and white stone.

You don't know? That he points to the flask is an Estus flask, it'll heal you when you consume it, but you'll only have a limited number of uses between bonfires. That he points at the stone I think is a white soapstone, something to do with drawing yourself into other worlds.

"Wouldn't ask otherwise," she replies.

"Hmm.." She ponders the items after being educated, pocketing them once more, "And you? What exactly are you doing here?"
OOC:
I'd like to make a Perception check, if possible, to size him up. Weapons, capabilities, if I can.

Rolls

Perception - (1d20+6)

(13) + 6 = 19

The knight is dressed in full plate and has a greatsword on his back. Strangest thing, I don't know why I'm here, I'm just waiting for my time to join those down there, hehe.
Nov 16, 2016 5:10 am
"Seems forgetfulness is a common trait here..." she mutters, looking out toward the castle in the distance.

She turns back to the knight, "You mean those I just cut down? If you're looking to join them, I can offer to deliver you that same fate early." She taps the hilt of the shortsword at her hip.
Nov 16, 2016 5:14 am
If you kill me I'll just be back. Most things don't stay dead for too long here.
Nov 16, 2016 5:19 am
"Hmm.." She ponders, "Shame. When you do go Hollow, I'll be sure to come back for a few of your things." Harmia turns and steps away toward the edge of the ring of stones, having no pity for a man who's given up. "That castle. Know anything about it?"
Nov 16, 2016 5:27 am
It's called the Firekeep, they say a god once burnt themself beneath it. Now it's just filled with the undead.
Nov 16, 2016 5:37 am
"Have you been there?" He asks idly as she pulls the white soapstone from her pocket and begins to toy with it. "Anything interesting between here and there?"
Nov 16, 2016 5:43 am
Well there's this old battlefield filled with hollows, I didn't get through it to see whats in the castle.
Nov 16, 2016 5:49 am
"I see," she says, stepping out a few more feet. "Well, then, good luck," she says softly, drawing her blades and walking out toward the fortress.
Nov 17, 2016 12:03 am
You start down the path to Firekeep. As you exit the stone circle you note there were two other paths, both of which hooks backwards on heading upwards and the other downwards. A short walk before you there is, as the knight had predicted, signs of a battlefield. The path becomes nonexistent in the fields of crumbled walls, scattered paths and broken engines of war. You can see many hollows, all dressed in decayed and battered uniforms. Notable among them is the three which hold their post on a broken section of wall, they will likely Harry you as you approach.
Nov 17, 2016 12:41 am
Harmia will instead choose to take the path that hooks backwards and downward.
Nov 17, 2016 3:09 am
The path hooks around sharply, as you follow it you see the wilderness end on the shores of some ocean. The path quickly narrows between the cliff and a drop. Ahead you can see a small village perched precariously on the coast.
