Harmia frowns. She doesn't have any desire to battle with ghosts. "Do you know where I could find a smith such as that?" She asks.
Dec 2, 2016 8:11 am
Harmia ponders this a moment, narrowing her eyes at the old lady rather suspiciously. "Well, then, I'll be going. Careful not to get eaten up while I'm gone."
Dec 2, 2016 9:20 am
Im sure I won't. If you ever need magic stones I'll be here. Hehe
Dec 2, 2016 5:18 pm
"Well, before I go... how much would the stones cost me?" It was a question she couldn't believe she was asking, but she felt hopeful.

Harmia lets out a short laugh, "Don't think I'd give you half that for some rocks."

Persuasion to lower price? - (1d20-1)

(17) - 1 = 16

The old hag bursts out with laughter in return. Heh, these stones are rare, fragments of a very god some say, I certainly would not part with them for less. That's a thousand souls each stone by the way.

"I could pick a rock and call it a piece of a dragon, too," Harmia says bluntly, turning around and heading toward the door, "Good luck with someone else." She'll depart from the building, drawing her blades and heading back toward the ring of stones that she had come from.

Should she make it there, she'll choose to take the path that hooked backwards and upwards.

As you arrive at the circle the knight greets you The village not to your liking, or did the guard knock you back. Their pit is impressive isn't it?
Dec 4, 2016 5:35 pm
Grunting, Harmia shrugs and says, "More the former. What pit?" She looks toward the knight, stretching her arm across her chest as she waits for a reply.

If you go past the first few houses in the village there is a sink hole about 20 feet wide and incredibly deep. The village used it as wast disposal bit when I looked down it there was definite signs of old ruins down there.

"I'll take a look later, I suppose. Some old lady was there, too. The 'guard' as you said didn't bother her, which is more than a little off-putting." Harmia looks about, tonguing a cut on her lip from when the beast had bludgeoned her. "For now, I'll give this a try," she speaks idly, once more taking out the white soapstone and scrawling it on the ground.

You draw a symbol on the ground but nothing seems to happen straight away.
Dec 4, 2016 11:12 pm
Watching the symbol for a while, Harmia will eventually shrug and leave without a word. She'll take that path that loops back and upward, weapons drawn and ready.

As you climb you enter a region of scarce woods, you approach a gated wall, with two hollows equipped with bows above it. The gates are slightly ajar, so you'll be able to pass through it. You don't see another way in, but there is a glowing rune scribbled on the gate similar to the one you just drew.

"Well, that's interesting," Harmia mutters, narrowing her eyes at the runes. She feels a desire to inspect them, and bends down and traces her finger across a few of the symbols.

OOC:
Sorry I failed to note distances (this is becoming a recurring fault of mine that I'm going to need to work on). It will take a round to actually reach the gate, and the hollows on the wall are going to get shots of on you as you approach...
As you start to approach the gate, the hollows take some shots, but none of them manage to actually hit you. As you examine the rune a golden image of a heavily armoured knight appears, it flickers for a moment, as if it is unsure whether it truly exists.

Rolls

Attacks - (1d20+3, 1d20+3)

1d20+3 : (6) + 3 = 9

1d20+3 : (12) + 3 = 15

OOC:
Oh, no, that was mostly my fault. No worries :) I didn't read thoroughly enough.
As if noticing the Hollows for the first time, Harmia curses in surprise as the arrows land just by her feet. She draws out her bow and takes aim upward. She focuses on one of the hollows in particular, whispering a hex upon him as she looses a couple arrows in quick succession.
OOC:
Casting Hunter's Mark on one of them. If they're within 5 feet of one another, I can make a third attack with Horde Breaker. Rolling twice per shot since I assume I'll take disadvantage.

Rolls

Attack 1 against Hunter's Mark target (assuming disadvantage) - (1d20+7, 1d20+7)

1d20+7 : (6) + 7 = 13

1d20+7 : (8) + 7 = 15

Damage for Attack 1 (adding +2 for favored enemy) - (1d8+6, 1d6)

1d8+6 : (7) + 6 = 13

1d6 : (6) = 6

Attack 2 against same target, or against other one if the first one dies. - (1d20+7, 1d20+7)

1d20+7 : (10) + 7 = 17

1d20+7 : (9) + 7 = 16

Damage for Attack 2 (adding +2 for favored enemy, ignore 1d6 if first target died) - (1d8+6, 1d6)

1d8+6 : (5) + 6 = 11

1d6 : (1) = 1

Attack 3 if Horde Breaker applies, has to be against target 2 - (1d20+7, 1d20+7)

1d20+7 : (5) + 7 = 12

1d20+7 : (5) + 7 = 12

Damage for hypothetical Attack 3 - (1d8+6)

(6) + 6 = 12

OOC:
They are seperated by more then 5 feet, so no horde breaker...
The hollow manages to survive your two powerful strikes, they return fire, but are unsuccessful.

Rolls
