And my answers:
Vethalia: Ear-Twitching. We can have entire conversations just by moving our ears slightly - probably even imperceptible to others. We spend our time on the road telling each other stupid jokes in this manner, in the hope of making the other person laugh out loud and look weird and insane to the rest of the party.
Daedale: That I'm fine with your magic. In fact I think that turning away from natural sources for your magic and into scientific magic has led to nature going wild. It's you druids that have caused all this upheaval, and Guesclinbert keeps wondering if it was because of that change in emphasis that his community was destroyed. He doesn't entirely trust you or your magic.
Talin: There was a faerie who used to visit Gobtown every now and then when I was young, a travelling entertainer named Terbalt, she had such pretty wings, and could glide through the air so much more gracefully than I ever could. I wouldn't even feel the brush or her wings or the slight change in the air when she was sneaking up on me to tickle me. Her songs were always lively, exuberant, full of joie de vivre, but then she disappeared for a good couple of years. When she came back, her songs were maudlin, filled with stories of loss and despair, and she came to visit Gobtown less and less frequently, until she simply stopped coming a few years before the community was ravaged. She has the same eyes as you do, at least in her later years - as if hiding something that she didn't want revealed because of the pain that it would cause, of loss and sorrow. The change in her makes me wonder if something similar happened to her original community or family, and when I think about your age, and those eyes...
