Chapter 1: Willowdark, a Village Repressed

Xaar slams her fist into the ground near to one man's head, causing the front of his pants to darken slightly, although dealing no damage.

Geran's ball of eldritch energies catches the man near Jean by surprise, which causes him to take his eye off the rapier wielding combatant in front of him. Jean takes advantage of the opening and slides his rapier through the man's throat dropping him to the ground.
Thorolf nocks an arrow and let's it fly at one of the men on the ground. Having a little difficulty, because of the man's position, the arrow hits but not as vitally as it would normally.

The men on the ground drop their weapons, and the man with the arrow begins to cry somewhat.

Please, we surrender!

PCs are up.

The man looks at Xaar, his eyes wide.

Cornam sent us! We're to get whatever monies we can from people out in the wood. 'Gold-filled pockets and heads missing brains', he says. We weren't expectin' you types! Please, don't kill me like you did the others, I'm just followin' orders! he says, voice full of whimpering.

His compatriot has sat himself up and is glowering at the other man, no words spoken.

Another hour of walking passes you by. You find yourselves near to where you separated from the group to head south.
