OOC:
Do I have any clue why Eldreth and Shuushar are like this ? Heck do I think what happened to Sarith and Derendil were from the same thing. Just curious if Dustin can put two and two together.

Both of your boats get cast off from the docks without issue. Bildaweer and Fang climb atop their respective keelboat cabins, looking at the charts and giving direction to those of you rowing the boats down the river. As you start off, the water is pretty still, as you are in the edge of the Darklake which is much closer to an actual lake at the edge of Sloobludop.

As you go, the sounds of screams and the gibberish of Demogorgon fade away. You pass into a new chamber with massive pillars of rock with carvings and scars crisscrossing them. After about three hours, you make your way into a cavern dimly lit by phosphorescent moss high upon some pillars. As Bildaweer's boat, in the lead, passes one of the pillars, a swirling column of water rises up, bending over with a blurbling hiss. It is nearly 15 feet tall and covers easily 10 feet square along the bottom. It writhes and liquid jaws gnash.

Well poop. Is it attacking?
Jan 16, 2017 10:28 pm
It doesn't immediately, however you are currently in combat order and the PCs are up first. Your conscious NPCs won't attack unless you do.

You know it is a water weird and that it has a variety of resistances to nonmagical damage.

I motion frantically at Dustin to start rowing away from the creature. I want to get away from it fast.

I bang my oar against the cabin wall and wave my arms to try and get Beldaweer and Cemos' attention.

Bildaweer looks over at Fang. What should we do?

I firmly point away from the Water Weird and make frantic paddling motions!
