As you get close you can see that there are some kuo-toa on the deck of the boat, waving at you. Shuushar makes his way out and hails them. He turns to the group.

They are worshippers of the Sea Mother. We should talk with them some more. They are not likely to injure us.

Ask them what they want Shushar.

the last time we ran into these folk they summoned a dragon. Are we sure we should talk with them? cemos says in a hushed tone to the group
Mar 5, 2017 1:23 pm
"I don't know Cemos. I kind of screwed up with the hag so a bit unsure of myself. They look friendly but I have been wrong before. On the other hand they may have news or supplies."
Mar 7, 2017 4:29 pm
Shuushar seems sure that these are friendly folk. Let's see what they have to say.
Mar 7, 2017 4:49 pm
Hail there ! Dustin calls out.
Mar 7, 2017 9:07 pm
have you any items or supplies for trade? cemos follows Dustin and bildaweers actions.

OOC:
Apologies for the delays. Startup phase of a new project of work decided that I needed to have no free time! Thankfully I think I've found the balance.
The Kuo-toa move around, slowing their boat. As you pull alongside, they hail you in Common.

Well met! We do have some supplies, though not much! However, we also have a surfaceman with us that would likely be more comfortable with you than with us! The tiller-tender says. At that, you notice there's a human standing alongside the fishmen. As you get close enough, Fang hops over, giving the man a close handshake. Some words are uttered that none of you understand.

Dramasailor sent a note to CouchLord0510

After a moment, the human walks over to the group with Fang. "Greetings," he says with a grave smile. "My Moonbrother has asked that I accompany you on your continued journey since he must leave you. I am Ander, Ander Brightwood."
Mar 8, 2017 1:19 am
Fang looks to the group.

It's true. I've felt something here, something off. It's a task I cannot ask you to accompany me on. It's not that I don't want to, Druidic law forbids me from bringing you along on this journey. I do hope you understand. I know Ander through the Moon and the Circle. More than that, we are also not allowed to reveal. Moonbrother, you have my thanks. Friends, I leave you now. Don't mourn me or be sad, this is a glorious time.

With that said, Fang leaps over the boat, shapeshifting to a fish midleap before splashing into the water.
Mar 8, 2017 2:00 am
Well that was sudden we really didn't get to say goodbye.

Dustin dors turn to the other Druid and shakes his hand.

Names Dustin, welcome to our company.
Mar 8, 2017 2:03 am
Ander doesn't offer a hand, but takes Dustin's offered hand firmly if awkwardly. "Glad to make your acquaintance," he says.
Mar 8, 2017 3:23 pm
"So how did you end up down here ?" He asked of Ander.

He also looked to Cemos, "Why don't you find out what they have for trade."
Mar 8, 2017 4:12 pm
Bildaweer walks towards Dustin and Ander. He holds out a hand to greet the newcomer. Well met friend Ander. My name is Bildaweer and I look forward to getting to know you.
Mar 8, 2017 4:23 pm
Cemos taken back by the event's that just occurred gives one last look to the direction that Fang took off and offers a simple prayer for his journey. He looks to Ander and gives a kind nod and makes his way over to the other boat. any rations or clean water would help also we are in need of any potions or perhaps some new armor he says as he points to the acid burned hole in his chestplate.

Ander smiles kindly at Bildaweer. "Hail and well met," he says. "As to how I came to be here, I was sent by the Circle. I was told my brother would give me further instructions; I believe this is for what I was sent."

Maybe your here to help lead us out. This place is vast and we have only seen a small part of it.
Mar 9, 2017 1:34 am
Ander shrugs. "Perhaps," he says, "I have some skill in such things, though this realm is nigh as unfamiliar to me as to you."

The kuo-toa look to Cemos. I'm afraid we have no food and water, aside from our own rations. We do have some kuo-toa javelin heads that we could part with, and a Potion of Resistance that should help with any acid you encounter. he says, eyes unblinking.

OOC:
I don't think he is being very forthcoming. I'd like to persuade him and see if mane he forgot about that dragonscale armor in the cargo bay lol.
My friend please, we have been on this boat for a long time and if there is anything.... anything at all you could part with. We would be able to compensate you. Perhaps you could check your cargo again.
