OOC:
Please give Cemos inspiration that was damn funny

OOC:
Done! I fully agree.

With a heavy thud, Cemos falls to the ground, with a knot rising near the nape of his neck from Dustin's strike.

Meanwhile, the others are making concerted efforts to bind Stool with rope. He doesn't resist, and they are able to easily get him tied. A few minutes later, his muscles relax and he talks back into your minds.

I thank you friends. My mind is my own once more, I don't know what came over me, but all I wanted for several minutes was to attack the nearest thing to me. I hope this doesn't happen much again.

You now have a knocked out Cemos, and a complacent but bound Stool. Do you all leave this place? Or do you wait here for any further length of time? If you are venturing forth, what are you doing with the goods on the boat?

Dustin will warily untie Stool to see if he is truly free of the influence.

It's ok Stool knew it wasn't you. I don't know what is causing these weird bouts but they are not good and could be fatal if they occur while we are under attack.

"Well I say we try and transport the cargo someplace to sell it. Otherwise it will be too much to carry arround. Though we could make some kind of sled using the Zurkwood of the boat.

Ander warps back into his original shape, giving those watching a start even though they'd seen him do it several times before by now. "I suggest we leave this place as soon as possible," Ander quips. "What do we do with your cargo?"

We bring with. Part of it is for Cemos armor.

Lets build sleds we can bring it with us in.

Looks for how the Dueregar might have done it.

don't let me forget to use that inspiration before the end of tomorrow because as of right now I have 2 of them. I feel like Cemos would be knocked out for a bit. let me know if I need to make a roll to wake up so I can help out with the group. also I fell like Ander should know all about what is going on with the cargo that we found.

We basically handwaved the knocking out. Realistically, not enough damage had been done to you to actually knock you unconscious yet. However, in normal cases, you only need to get 1 HP of healing to come back to consciousness. In short, you can determine how long you are out of your own accord.

Ander, you would likely have been made aware of the total cargo load.

10 barrels of water, 5 crates of rations, 3 crates spider silk fabric in black, 3 crates of uncured hides, a crate of spider silk ropes, and a crate of masterwork manacles and shackles. One of the uncured hide crates actually has 840 ingots of mithril hidden in and around the uncured hides.

You may have reduced the amount of water and rations (2 barrels and 1 crate) if you used them for any of the food on the journey.

"And how in all the Woods do you plan on moving all this?" Ander asks, an eyebrow raised in disbelief.

I am not sure, I just know the Dueregar must have had some method. As a druid could you summon something like draft animals ?

A simple history reminder from your earlier taking of this boat reminds you that the Duergar are some of the heaviest users of slave labor in the entirety of the Underdark and surface lands.

oh my head.... what happened? All I remember is having a fantastic dream of being invincible....but... But then a huge snake appeared and it grabbed me. Haha to think a snake of all creatures could best me. Why is there a knot on the back of my head?
Mar 28, 2017 5:29 pm
You stabbed yourself Cemos and were running for that cursed dagger to prove your invincibility. We had to knock you out, sorry about that. Stool also had an episode where he attacked me. Right now we are trying to figure out how to move all this from the boat.

wohohoho Dustin your a funny one, Knocked me out. Come on now stop messing around with me, we have work to do. Now I bet we can manage a sled of some sort and if your new druid companion would be willing to shift into some kind of beast of burden we may be able to take most of this to into town. cemos starts off to look for wood as the group sees him stop for a moment remembering that their is indeed a druid that could have shifted into a snake. As he grabs the back of his head to touch the knot he looks over his shoulder at Ander and pauses for a moment....nahhhh hohoho, can you imagine, a giant snake lol

Dustin gives one of those pained looks to the other team members as if to ask without saying.

Do we untie him ?
Mar 28, 2017 11:02 pm
OOC:
I am thinking we could a survival check to make a sled. Ander what kinds of big beasts can you shift into?
Mar 28, 2017 11:14 pm
"I think your stool friend is safe enough," Ander says placidly.
OOC:
Anything CR rating 1 or above, which is most beasts of burden excluding elephantine creatures.
Mar 28, 2017 11:22 pm
Dustin unties Cemos.
There you go.
Mar 29, 2017 12:06 am
OOC:
Yes, a survival check would be needed to make the sled. Additionally, you'll need to consider how long Ander can be in his beast form and if you'd want him to be able to beast-mode during any combats. IIRC, druids get 2 shifts per short rest for 1 hour each. So every third hour you'd have to stop and rest so he could regain uses. This would make your trip to Neverlight take another day or two above your current rate (just from the slower pace).
