Annoyed at Avox's racism Bo takes it out on Savi "Kachu' chu mo lik patumo"
She heads to the cockpit. She doesn't have much astrogation but she knows she is crafty and maybe can talk directly to the nav computer"
OOC:
Int 3 and no astrogation skill if it helps. She will make a computer roll to see if she can get any blues to add to a roll.

Rolls

One blue it is...and the difficulty is only 1 purple anyway

Also assists use the higher of each characters trait or skill interchangeably, my intell of 3 might not be a huge help there, so I hope the blue does it.

OOC:
As I recall, no one has any Astrogation skill without Ada, and Jack's Int is a 2, so that's going to be the hardest thing for me. The difference between 3 green and 2 green/1 yellow isn't much, so we should be fine with just some smart folk until we can buy an astromech droid or something.

OOC:
Doc's got an int of three as well so we should be ok unless we're planning on doing any jumps into less well traveled areas

Bo swings into the copilot seat and looks at the work already plugged into navigation. She wires into the ship and types some. She laughs a bit, and then stops herself. She looks a little embarrassed. "Ship has funny sense ah humor. "

She returns to the nav panel and finishes some coordinates.

The Horizon Chaser lifts into the air and soars into space. She isn't moving as smoothly as she once was, but Jack is a competent pilot and has no difficulties. Once free of the gravity well, Bo pulls back on a lever and the stars smear into the lines of hyperspace. A clock begins counting down: 29 hours to your destination.
Jan 30, 2017 11:15 pm
Jack slumps back into his chair and lets out a long sigh. He looks over at the co-pilot's chair, where he used to sit, and frowns. Ada used to always stay in the pilot's seat for hours during hyperspace travel, just in case something needed doing. He felt wrong about abandoning those same duties, and so he remained.

Avox eventually get to the cockpit and, despite the atmosphere, flat out asks Jack "What became of Ada? Did she split?"
Jan 30, 2017 11:27 pm
"Yeah," Jack says, looking over a few of the controls on this side of the cockpit. It would take him some time before he got his bearings. "She had some people after her," he continues, "Thought it best to not involve us."
Jan 30, 2017 11:55 pm
Avox folds his arms and grunts in response, then asks "Are you gonna be able to handle being full time pilot?" His tone takes an air of concern for a flash, but then settles on his usual abrasive manner, adding "Space collision is not the way I want to die."
Jan 31, 2017 12:02 am
"Then be sure not to get on my nerves, lest I crash this thing just to get back at you," Jack says, a smirk appearing on his face, "I'm known to be spiteful on occasion."
Jan 31, 2017 12:44 am
As Savi walks past the cockpit in search of a restful spot, Jack and Avox hear a loud "Ha!" immediately following Jack's comment regarding his "occasional" attitude.

The playful jab is followed by a slightly farther away, "...and I occasionally talk too much."
Jan 31, 2017 1:28 am
Jack looks down at the piloting controls with a big smirk on his face. "Good one," he mutters, barely loud enough for even Avox to hear.
Jan 31, 2017 1:50 am
Avox heads out, spending the remainder of the trip barely talking to anyone. He eats in the cafeteria when it is time to, and otherwise spends his time in his quarters. He takes apart and oils some parts of his gun, ensures it has proper output, and cleans the attachments of his armor that come off. At one point he even sleeps.

Jack spends most of the trip in the pilot's chair, occasionally leaving it up for someone else to keep an eye on as he goes to rest in his bunk. More often than not though, he can be found sleeping at the helm itself. More than a few times he listens to Ada's last message, hoping that he might be able to find some way to contact her within it, though the effort proves unsuccessful.

Doc spends most of the trip in his cabin reading up on a number of medical texts on his data pad (related to the biology of the rest of the crew's races in particular) only occasionally surfacing to grab a bite to eat and check the readouts coming from the engines and other ships systems.
