I'm finding conflicting answers in various forums, so I'll ask the man in charge:

Does Create or Destroy Water work on ice?

I would rule yes. Ice is just frozen water, as it calls out fog too in the spell.

Is this to make sure what you want to post is in the right spot in the narrative once you get a DM ruling? Or something similar?

Nah, I just got called away to dinner when I wasn't done yet. Nothing crucial. I just realized I'm a little behind on posting and didn't want to fall further behind.

I like that idea. I've had a couple times when I've been in the middle of writing something and real life intervened. Other times, I've been waiting on a DM ruling (no fault of any DMs; it's just the nature of the format) and other players have progressed the story, and it just didn't make sense to make everyone backtrack.

To be fair, I'm uncertain if the ship's crew are dwarves from the same clan.

Oh yeah. Second paragraph. Reading comprehension, right? Good thing my job doesn't depend on it.

The ship was purchased for this journey and has a mixed race crew. The captain looks dwarven, but if you didn't know better, he looks like he has some elven blood in him too.

Anybody wanna name the ship? Or was that another thing I missed?
