The crone falls under Ujjaya's relentless barrage of arrows.

Durgrim is up next.
Jun 25, 2017 5:15 pm
Glancing over at Roland, Durgrim quickly determines he'll have to deal with the monstrosity in front of him before going to his ally's aid. He makes two quick slices with the waraxe at the giant leech.

Rolls

Dwarven waraxe power attack I (to hit, damage) - (1d20+10, 1d10+9)

1d20+10 : (16) + 10 = 26

1d10+9 : (10) + 9 = 19

Dwarven waraxe power attack II (to hit, damage) - (1d20+5, 1d10+9)

1d20+5 : (11) + 5 = 16

1d10+9 : (7) + 9 = 16

Jun 25, 2017 7:02 pm
Durgrim kills the monstrosity on his first blow.
OOC:
Since you only needed to perform a single attack to kill the creature instead of a full one, I'll let you perform a move action if you wish.
With a quick thank you to Durgrim, Ireena will make her way to help Roland as quickly as she can.

Veroth is up next.
Jun 25, 2017 10:11 pm
Veroth will, flying over the water, and threaten the giant eel thing with his rapier, hoping to at least distract it and provide his companion and opening.
OOC:
Too far for a single move, so no attack. Acrobatics check to avoid an AOO from the last 5 feet of movement. (AC 26 vs AOOs)

Rolls

Acrobatics to avoid AOO - (1d20+16)

(1) + 16 = 17

Jun 26, 2017 2:28 am
OOC:
Well, either way, it cannot attack you since it is latched to Roland and pretty single-minded about sucking the life out of him...
Speaking of which, Roland.
Jun 26, 2017 7:09 am
OOC:
Since I could, I moved Durgrim 2 squares east
Jun 30, 2017 5:53 pm
Oh crap, my bad. moving now.
Jun 30, 2017 5:55 pm
Roland repeats his two shot maneuver attempting to get free.

Rolls

shot 1 - (1d20+6)

(4) + 6 = 10

shot 2 - (1d20+1)

(13) + 1 = 14

damage 1 - (1d6+7)

(5) + 7 = 12

damage 2 - (1d6)

(3) = 3

Jun 30, 2017 8:42 pm
Sadly, Roland's shots miss again. The creature's tough rubbery skin seems quite effective at absorbing the impact of his bullets...

Speaking of which, it is the creature's turn. It heals itself slightly and continues sucking the lifeblood out of Roland. Roland takes anoter 1 point of CON damage.

Darren is up.

Rolls

CON damage.

Jun 30, 2017 10:10 pm
OOC:
Ouch!
Edit: WAAAIIIIT! I made a big mistake. Roland's pistol are touch. Roland would have pretty much hit all his attacks. Okay, I recalculated the damage the creature suffered accounting for Roland's attacks having hit after all (just doubling the damage received since the critical hit would have been confirmed). Good news: The creature is pretty close to death. Bad news: it would still be alive and this does not change the CON damage Roland received. But I'm a lot more hopeful about Roland's chances to make it out alive...

Darren begins sloshing through the water to where the last remaining leech is. As he moves that way, he sees Roland fall and casts a spell to stabilize his companion.
[ +- ] Stabilize - Range 40 ft
OOC:
By my calculations, he's 40 feet away, so I should be able to reach him
Jul 1, 2017 3:10 am
OOC:
Yep.
Roland is stabilized. Weiryn is up next.
Jul 3, 2017 1:35 pm
Woohoo! I mean cough cough, gurgling bloody, cough.
Jul 3, 2017 5:46 pm
OOC:
Yeah, once they kill that thing, it will let you go and you'll fall in about a foot of water... They'll have to get your ass out of there quick...And then you'll have to search for your revolvers you dropped in the water... XD
Jul 7, 2017 12:32 pm
OOC:
Well, it's Weiryn's turn next, but he's out for the moment, so do we want to move on?
Jul 7, 2017 3:23 pm
OOC:
Yeah, I'll play his character later when I have the time...
Jul 8, 2017 3:48 pm
