Act II: Ill Fortunes (Part 2, the morning after)

"These werewolves in ruins. Are those ruins west of the Crossroads leading to Lysaga Hills?"

"Yeah. So you heard of the place. Well, the word 'ruins' is a bit generous. Outside of that short tower, there isn't much left there..."

"Anythin else lurking in those ruins we should be wary of if we investigate?"

"Maybe. I haven't explored them to be honest. It would not do me much good to just throw myself in the wolf's den. I fully expect the ruins to be trapped though... At least, that what I would do in their place..."

"There is an artifact we seek in those ruins. Would you be willing to join our party for a raid on those ruins?"

"Yeah, sure. I get to kill werewolves, you get your artifact, everyone's happy."

"Excellent! Happy to have you join us."

"Thank you. So what is the plan of action? We could leave for the ruins right now and clear them, but we'll probably have to spend the night there. Or you're welcome to spend the night here and we can go to the ruins first time in the morning."

"I reccomend that we all rest and prepare and attack first thing in the morning. We had to kill a few werewolves already on the way in."

"Resting here would be for the best, I think. We appreciate the offer, Janis," Darren says with a slight bow.

"If we spend the night here, shouldn't we go get the mule and cart and bring them here?"

yes we should

Roland will head back to his mule to do just that.

"Is anyone injured? I still have a few healing spells for the day."

"I'm good, but if ye can pray for renewed strength in the morning, that would be great."

" Unfortunately I have used all my ability healing spells but I can get Durgrim up to full health."

Veroth is unwounded and is willing to take an unpopular middle watch, as he has no spells to memorize.
