Ander, having sufficiently shredded the creature, shifts back to his normal shape, still breathing heavily. With a scowl he glances at the cloud above him, and decides to leave it be. No reason to dismiss it until I must, he thinks. He then begins sifting through the loot.

OOC:
what are the stats of the bearded mace?
Apr 20, 2017 11:11 am
It's a normal mace, but does 1 point of fire damage if it's lit when you hit something. Also, while lit it casts light like a torch, albeit green.

OOC:

OOC:

Stool, you have done so well. You are officially graduated from your apprenticeship and I think with time, you may become a Sovereign yourself. To congratulate you I present you with this magic dagger. You have seen how much it has helped me and I hope it serves you equally as well.

Dustin explains how the poison reservoir works and after making sure Stool has a strong understanding of it he hands it over to his friend.

Dustin then looked to the others, What do we do about Francis ? I couldn't find him.
Apr 20, 2017 12:51 pm
well we can just abandon him. Perhaps the sovereign will be able to send people to help us find him. I think we should have eldrith and still and Georgis return to the town and inform then of what has happened and we set off to look for him. I might be able to track him.
Apr 20, 2017 12:53 pm
OOC:
would that be a survival check to find his tracks?

Also I am likein emerald beard but lets see what the rest of the boys think. Or maybe wait for a noteable kill and then call it ___ bane lol

Alright that sounds good, just don't want him running into that grick all on his own without a weapon. Speaking of, we seemed to empower this beast with lightning. Mentor Bildaweer, what do you know of Gricks so we don't make similar mistakes with it.

By the gods, we have found some loot! The gauntlets, the necklace, and one of these pearls are magical! Hold on before you touch them! Bildaweer casts good and evil on the items.
OOC:
I am pretty sure that I had this spell prepared as I don't think I changed my list since the encounter with the green hag. But,
I could be wrong. I don't remember if we had a long rest either, since we've been to Stool's home. If so, I need to roll my portent rolls. Thanks Drama!

Rolls

Nature check for grick info. - (1d20+4)

(2) + 4 = 6

OOC:
Nature in case some Gricks are in the forest

Rolls

Nature - (1d20+3)

(13) + 3 = 16

Neither Bildaweer or Dustin remember much of anything about Gricks.
OOC:
Yes, it would be survival to try finding tracks. It is super wet terrain here, so it would be a pretty solid DC to try finding anything. As for having the spell prepared, sure, if you'd like. Come up with what you want your spell list to be right now. You've been travelling off and on for days since your last combat (save for the big centipede things). You have had one long rest since then so portent away. In any event, you get no particular twinges of good or bad from the items, they are pretty neutral in nature.
It'll take some time studying the items for an hour or so to figure out what exactly they do.

Spell list: mage armor, magic missile, sleep, detect magic, detect good and evil, scorching ray, dispel magic, rope trick, melf's acid arrow

Rolls

Portent rolls - (2d20)

I don't know much about these Griks myself. Maybe we will learn in the fighting with the beast.

He got up from where he was and gave Stool a smile and patted his cap.

"Alright Cemos, lead on let's find Francis or the Grick, hopefully both."
Apr 21, 2017 4:01 pm
Ander contemplates what he knows about gricks.

Rolls

Nature - (1d20-1)

(1) - 1 = 0

Apr 21, 2017 4:31 pm

Apr 22, 2017 2:59 am
Cemos looks off to were his companion ran off and kneels next to the last place he saw him.
