1. Rage
+4 sequence mode J? Not sure here, but seems steep to get your rage on. Let me know if we can call Kray's fury a zero and I'll happily redo the math.
Good question. We work this stuff out as we go.
The Bonus to next Action spacing is more intended for spacing between Attacks or hard Actions. With yours as Rage and then next thing in sequence as Movement, I think this gives us some leeway to allow a revised interpretation that is both beneficial and realistic.
I can picture this, sort of narrative:
Kray launches immediately into action, speeding towards Thorn and the dogs. All the while, his mind is unleashing a fury within him, a focus on nothing but combat. The vision of war builds as he rears back with his sword, raising it out at full extension. When he begins the swing, his mind is locked completely on delivering pain and death. The Serpent Judgment falls with an unbridled rage.
Mechanical explanation: Rage is building on the go and during the speed factor of Attack.
Result 1: Kray arrives at 15' destination at 1. (build Attack 1 from here. Noteworthy in advance: this is BEFORE Hound Z Initiative, which is 2! Very important as it turns out. HZ is not yet ready to do his outward press Movement. Kray is on the scene too fast. Kray makes it before getting blocked by a would-have-been outward-pressing hound.)
Result 2: Rage complete at 2. (allows for Rage effects, including Attack 1 Damage bonus, to be in effect. Also Noteworthy in Advance: at this Sequence Point, this positioning triggers Hound Z to Attack Kray and NOT Thorn. Could be a lifesaver. We don't know yet, but 1 less Attack on Thorn may make the difference).
Result 3: Attack 1 lands at 4. (build Attack 2 from here)
Result 4: Attack 2 lands at 7.
Ez, check my work. Reflect on it for a second. Get back with me here on Admin if you see flaws.
If it looks good, go back and apply to your entry and build the numbers to correspond. May need to keep going with it. Not sure. Those later Movement-related efforts may not be necessary because I think Kray will be fully engaged with hounds right there where he stands.
Bro, not sure yet, but that perfect roll on Initiative may turn out to be the game-changer when combined with everyone else's efforts.
