Not at all my friend see I focus mainly on evocation, mastery of the elements if you will. I'll go more in depth some other time but let's catch up to the others. Valius looks please to have had someone show interest and you can tell he could go on for hours should the situation be any different.

As Laucain jumps back he knocks into Mel. "What curse has befallen you that you must leap into me?"
She look at where Laucain is addressing. "That would be...hey, is that a crack at me. You do best to watch that tongue of yours." She takes a few steps back and then leaps across the pit. Once across she turns to Laucain. "Let's go Louking, we need... Oh look there is Valius and my brother."

As we get closer Ruthann says, "Is everything ok up there? We saw that snare trap further back and..... is that a pit in the middle of the path?"
Ruthann walks closer and carefully looks into the pit. "I'm glad we didn't find you both down there." He looks up at Mel and says, "Are you well Sister?"

As Ruthann lands, Mel gives him a courious look. "Why would I need to catch you? More importantly, why would you think I would attempt to? Brother, we have crossed gaps like this many times. Stop being a baby. Now, be a gentleman and take the lead" Her tone more playful at the end as she gustures for Ruthann to lead.

Ruthann turns to her, "Being a baby? No, just being cautious. Would you rather grab me if I slipped or pull me out of a 10 ft deep pit?..........." He hesitates while looking at her, then cocks his head to the side and says with a smirk on his face, "Did you trigger that snare we passed? You have some dirt In your hair and on your shoulders." He chuckles and looks over at Valius and Laucain, "How are you two going to make it over. Need any assistance?"

As she starts to walk forward, Ruthann reaches out and grabs the back of her collar and says, "Wait, wait! Shouldn't we at least try to be a little sneaky and see what we are up against before we just go charging in?" He looks over to Laucain, "Would you mind taking a sneaky look into the cave?
