OOC:
Yes, it is a spiral staircase. You can move through the space of an ally but cannot end your move there.
Oh, I forgot to specify that it was Darren's turn, but I assume he'll still be delaying...
Sep 27, 2018 1:12 pm
Alright, well then it's Heather's turn.
Sep 28, 2018 2:01 pm
OOC:
Ok, sorry for the confusion guys. I will be mostly out of the way this round.
Heather lifts her holy symbol in the face of the floating undead creature and channels positive energy to harm to it. The creature gets a will save to halve the damage with a DC of 15. This is a standard action that does not offer an attack of opportunity.

Hoping the creature is put off balance Heather then retreats down the stairs behind Durgrim.

Rolls

channel positive energy harm undead - (3d6)

(624) = 12

OOC:
Going to take my delayed turn now that Heather is out of the way
Once Heather slips by, Darren takes a step up the stairs, calls upon his faith to empower his weapon, and swings his hammer at the undead monstrosity in front of him.
OOC:
Using my last charge of Fervor to cast Divine Favor on myself without provoking as a swift action
[ +- ] Combat Stats

Rolls

Attack! - (1d20+12, 1d8+13)

1d20+12 : (13) + 12 = 25

1d8+13 : (8) + 13 = 21

Since Heather performed a standard action and then moved out of the creature's threatened range, the creature will get another attack of opportunity on Heather (unless you possesses an ability which allows you to ignore this specific type of AoO). The creature does not seem to take as much damage from the channel energy attempt and succeed at hitting Heather for 3 points of damage. Heather must succeed at another Fort save.

Darren then moves in and smashed the creature with his warhammer... as much as you can smash an incorporeal creature... in fact, it felt like the hit did not connect as much as it would normally have, but it still looks like it damaged the creature...

Seventh round of combat.

Conditions
The red area in the corridor of the basement is still covered in chards of sharp melted glass. it is considered difficult terrain, and increase the DC of Acrobatics check done within it by 5. Also, any attempt to run or charge through this terrain will require an Acrobatic check DC 15. Any creature falling prone in the area takes 1d6 points of damage.
Ryjo, Ireena and the plant creatures grappling them are grappled (-4 DEX, -2 attack and Combat Maneuvers except grapple checks to escape, cannot perform actions which requires hands to performs, if grappled and casting must make Concentration check DC 10+grappler's CMB+spell's level).

Veroth is up.

OOC:
I do not have that ability, but I do have one that would have been useful if I remembered it. Next round this guy is mine!

Oh dear, you hadn't said what the fort save required but that doesn't look good. I am going to use my Inspired ability to reroll that one if that is how this works

Good call.
Once again, as the incorporeal creature touches Heather, she can feel an unnatural cold threatening her vital force, but once again, it is soon gone.

Oh, I forgot to mention that Roland is up.

Roland shoots and hit the creature with one shot, severing some vines, ripping some leaves off. The creature is still moving, however.

Ireena will attempt to break free of the other creature.
OOC:
Well, I'll be damned, she had almost no chance...
Ireena manages to break free, coughing and gasping. She moves away from the plan which grabbed her and manages to say "Ryjo... We *cough*, we must help him..."

Rolls

Ireena's CMB to break free

Oct 9, 2018 9:44 pm
Weiryn is up next.
OOC:
Is irvanovich available to play his character or do I need to GMPC him a bit more?

Weiryn will channel positive energy, healing Ryjo and Ireena (any anyone else within 30' and not behind total concealment) and using his selective channelling feat to avoid healing the plants.
[ +- ] Weiryn's stats
This will heal Ryjo and Ireena (and potentially others) of 6 hp.

Rolls

Channel positive energy - (1d6)

(6) = 6

Oct 9, 2018 10:57 pm
Speaking of Ryjo, he'll also try to escape.
[ +- ] Ryjo's stats.
OOC:
Oh, so close yet so far...
Ryjo tries in vain to break free.

Rolls

Ryjo's CMB to escape - (1d20+6)

(15) + 6 = 21

With Ireena free, the animated corpse seems to turn to attack the rest of the party again, but then seems to realize the predicament it put itself in, if it moves, the plant will lash at it out of instinct... So it attacks the plant again, seeing the leafy creature's death it's best hope of reaching the player party again...

Rolls

Corpse's attack on plant

Oct 9, 2018 11:05 pm
And it is the plant creature's turn. The green one will continue constricting Ryjo while the gold one will attack its mysterious new attacker (the corpse creature).

Ryjo's muffled screams of pain seems to indicate that the poor monk might not have a lot left in him... As for the second plant, a hit from it's vines reduces the corpse to dust. You wonder if a plant creature can be surprised...

Ryjo's HP: 2/52

Rolls

Constrict on Ryjo

Attack on corpse

Oct 9, 2018 11:09 pm
The incorporeal creature will now attack its newest target: Darren.

The creature once again misses and is in danger of fumbling... It is not a fumble, but still a miss...

Durgrim is up next and still waiting, I'll assume... (so we can go to Heather now).

Rolls

Incorporeal undead attack (touch)

Fumble confirmation roll

Heather will use summon monster III to summon 2 celestial wolves behind the incorporeal creature.
