Looking down in the swirl of chaos beneath him, Iasu sees the entire scene of mayhem that is the Chamber of the Pit as he flies above it, hurdling forward and upward, lifted by the bladed chains.
He hits a couple of the flying giant bugs along the way. The insectoid fiends are everywhere.
Iasu sees Elam on the floor now, injured and struggling to rise. The rust-colored monster is almost upon him.
In a startling flash, Iasu is suddenly dragged right past another monster that glides by and descends out of the high shadows. A great serpent, with the body and arms of a man - not arms, weapons. Spears of bone.

The monstrosity drops from high on the wall and lands with a thud on the ground right at Elam.
But that glimpse is all that Iasu can see before he is pulled into darkness.
Getting banged and bumped as he hits a ledge and pulled into some sort of tunnel, it is all Iasu can do to hold tight to the weapon Bryn gave him. The iron bands are inert now, but still lock his legs. They scrape along the stone as they are dragged.
Iasu is dragged up a slant, in some sort of stone chute. The sound of metal scraping stone and then metal chains rattling and clanging and then whisking away.
Iasu finds himself finally at a complete halt, lying on his back in the small stone chute tunnel, with his iron-bound legs facing uphill. The bladed and hooked chains are completely gone - their clanging and scraping noise abruptly silenced.
The top ceiling of the chute tunnel is only slightly more than and arm's lengths up. Iasu feels it as he pivots up at the waist.
The walls of the chute are close together. Close to Iasu's sides. Iasu could probably turn around in the tunnel IF he could bend his legs, but he cannot.
Iasu then smells the fresh air. Letting his eyes focus and adjust, he can gradually see that there is a low light source coming from higher in the chute tunnel.
There is no mistaking it, Iasu knows that it is the light of the moon.
