From the shadows Nabua raises the plank bow. The Death Adder poison already coats the bolt head.

Nabua cannot see Elam well enough. Uburatu and Balis obstruct the view, and that area is still veiled in darkness to some degree.

But the Jeresian holding the torch is some sort of commander. It will be an easy shot from here.

OOC:
Hyp, I had to press on to keep the Kung Fu Showdown at most only 1 Round behind the rest of the scene.
Will leave it there to see if you can pick it up for Actions in R4. I'll see if that can happen and then enter Devil Actions R4.

Iasu
R4
(DM Control)

https://dl.dropbox.com/s/mqa99qn9f5yjwyn/Iasu%20Icon.JPG

Iasu stalks in silence, melding into the darkness. He knows Nabua is somewhere nearby. With the plank bow. With a bolt loaded and aimed by now. Likely poisoned.

Iasu cannot see the goat man. That is no surprise. Nabua is a skulker and skirmisher of the highest order. A sniper.

But so is Iasu.

Where would I be?, Iasu thinks to himself. Where would I aim?

The Hechesi sights in at the battlefield, watching the rage and chaos from across the room.

He knows where he must be to take the shot. He makes his last movement, quickly but silently.

Vision will not work now. Iasu takes a deep breath and holds it before closing his eyes.

Bow in hand.

Total silence.

Listening.

Feeling.

There it is.

Iasu does not even turn his head in the direction of Nabua. Only his bow. He releases without a thought, his body moving on instincts, not conscience control.

The arrow hisses as it sails through the darkness...
Dec 18, 2018 9:29 pm
Hit.

It is as if the arrow simply appears in Nabua's chest. He looks down and sees it impaled at an angle, having entered just under his left arm.

He still holds the plank bow, but cannot raise it. It tilts down towards the ground but remains loaded in his right hand.

Nabua tries to look over, but the blackness is already closing in. The light is getting smaller.

He is still standing though, when he sees him emerging from the black, walking towards him.

The Ranger. Na'hama's son. Shining...

The world is falling away now. The light is gone.

The Hechesi takes the plank bow from his hand. It is the last thing Nabua senses before the darkness overtakes him.
OOC:
That's for you, Jabes. Come back, my brother.

Rolls

Iasu shot v. Nabua - (1d20+9)

Thorn is being held inside the gel by the dead arms of the myrmidon. His skin feels like its on fire.

Focus, boy! Urdav's voice floods his mind. The pain is an annoyance, nothing more. What must you do next!?

Thorn grows completely still for a short moment. Then he gives a massive shrug, trying to escape the myrmidon's hold.
OOC:
You don't make it easy for us, do you J. DC 23. Jesus.
Thorn throws off the putrid embrace, grabbing one of the arms as it slides off of him to use as an anchor to pull himself out of the engulfing gel.

Pulling himself free and keeping a hold on the arm, he uses his new movement to propel himself around the myrmidon, putting the cadaver between himself and the gel.
OOC:
Looking to circle MX clockwise, ending up almost between it and Bryn, if possible.
