Wak will select the best two of the AKs and leave the rest for the scavengers that will descend shortly.

Wak nods to Felyx, "the name is Wak, short for Wakiza. Don't worry about me, I was trained as a gunfighter on this and a couple of other continents. Sorry about that, I know you just walked into this mess. Those gangers messed with us at the airport and the fools I was with paid their full asking price for 'an inspection fee' or whatever. Then they started trailing us assuming we were easy marks. Had to handle this now, before we were doing anything mission related."

Wak pulls out his Medkit (Rating 6) to patch his wounds while they head to Ife.

Over comms to Jane, We just left 4 of those gangers from the airport, those 4 won't bother us again.
OOC:
Damn, I hope that wasn't a wasted kick ass roll. Lol

I don't think Pink Beard is around still...

What was the Firearm Design roll for? This might be a case of you knowing Shadowrun better than I do.

I think someone's going to need to make a roll on you with the Medkit.
Felyx knows that Ife is on the other side of the bay from Lagos.

if Wak can reach the wounds he will try to handle it himself.
OOC:
The firearm roll was to find the best AKs with the coolest mods on them!

You can medic yourself, sure. And, all the AKs were stock, in decent condition.
The trip to the coast is uneventful. People ignore you, for the most part. As you get closer to the docks where you'll be able to take a ferry across, the crowds get bigger and you have to slow down to avoid killing or maiming people. It takes tow or three honks just to get them to turn around and look at you as they walk in the middle of the road, let alone step to the side to allow your vehicle to pass by.

The ferry charges for each passenger and extra for the vehicle, but you're across in about 2 hours. Jane shows up to join you on the ferry, sharing a meal of bagged and flavored fish.

Once you arrive, Jane looks at the group, "So, the Oni Estate, right?"

"Uh, I guess? I'm gonna be honest, I don't really know what job you're having me do with these guys. The less I know the better, frankly. I'm just doing what they tell me, hoping this'll at least pay back a couple of those favors, haha," Felyx ends nervously.

Jane smiles at Felyx, "Yeah, sorry I called you up last minute." She pulls her commlink out of her pocket and swipes over an icon to Felyx. It has the basic information on an artifact gone missing from her employer, the Piri Reis map, and the suspected thief, Samriel. A picture of him is included and shows a tall, dark, menacing elf man.

You make your way to the estate and perhaps are surprised to find that the estate is open when you arrive. The face of the structure is adorned with both physical and ARO signs, advertising the auction and inviting people to come in and view the items.

Jane turns to the rest of the group with an eyebrow raised. "Well, this is good. Let's split up and see if we can find it." She turns and walks up the marble steps into the mansion.
OOC:
Anyone who's going in and looking around, give me an Intuition + Perception (2) roll.

Wak looks around the estate recording everything. Before they stop, "Felyx, circle the place a few times before we stop." Wak looks for guards, other runners watching the place and escape routes if needed. He nods to Jane and starts to heads in, "so what happens if the map is one of the sale items?"

Jane gives him a tight smile and says, "We get it back. One way or another..."

Wakiza looks around and can see plenty of people scoping the place out, testing its Matrix and astral security. Everyone seems to know what's going down at this place, but no one looks like they're making a move.

Stepping in Wakiza finds that the inside of the building is set up like a museum. A very high security museum. There are rows and rows of artifacts, all under calm yellow lights and all behind serious physical security. He wanders around for the better part of 10 minutes, examining each artifact, before coming across an old map. The paper is faded and brown and the old ink lines are faded. But the map also has some other lines on it that appear to be new additions, darker, fresher. The ARO identifies it at the Piri Reis Map.
