I wouldn't quit now just because some goblins ambushed us. Plus, I'm sure you'll have to walk back alone.

Posting seems to have slowed down. Are people absent or just not sure what to do?

I think each of us was respecting other players' desire to RP anything else. I'm ready to roll on if everyone else is.

Well if no one else is interested in these mushrooms, i might try a nibble of the small pink one, anyone else want to try one?
Petrev, nibbles a tiny piece of the pink mushroom, waiting to see if there is any burning or other adverse affects.j

The mushroom has a strong, tangy but not unpleasant taste. Some time after eating the tiny morsel, Petrev notices that his mood has brightened, enough that he is not at all bothered by the vague sense of unseen things at the edge of his vision.

Hmmm, well this day ended far better than it could have,
Would anyone like some fungi

Since noone's engaging with each other, I suggest we pick things up the next morning. It is Tuesday morning, the party is on Wednesday evening, and the group is about a full day's travel from the town of Peshtar, near Othorion's manor.
The smell of burned flesh lingers in the air, but otherwise there is no sign of Morgle and the wolves. Everyone feels refreshed after a long and deep slumber, albeit stiff and sore after the trials of the previous day. The morning sky is grey and a persistent drizzle has turned the forest floor to mud.
OOC:
What is everyone doing?
Jan 28, 2018 2:35 pm
Mantra is silently walking along, glad that they left early.
Jan 28, 2018 9:35 pm
Petrev has woken refreshed and cheerful, despite his near death yesterday. With a surprising clear head and a incredibly cheerful frame of mind he starts to prattle at his companions. Come on fellows lets be off, this job wont get done by itself. I bet our big friend here might come join me in dealing with that little crettin Cyrus when we are done? I have been thinking of a few ways we can fix his smart little bullying operation.
As we wander through the forest my prattling dies down as i focus my attention on the sounds and rythems of the forrst, listening for anything odd.

Momo grabs his gear and starts walking. "Sorry that I busted up the wagon. Now we have to walk. I hope Mr. Barret doesn't get too upset."
Jan 30, 2018 6:15 am
Davrick hops behind momo trying to keep up with his much longer strides

Not a huge fan of walking long distances but at least i am alive, It is a price that had to be paid momo, never seen anyone flip a wagon over like it was nothing

If you are feeling a bit out of sorts, do yourself a favour have a nibble of this proffering the small pink mushroom.

The showers continue unabated through the day's wearying march, and the party are thoroughly soaked and chilled when they arrive at Peshtar at dusk.

A small and modest – bordering on decrepit – town, Peshtar seems to exist entirely so Lord Othorion need not rub shoulders with (shudder) commoners. The residents' livelihood comes from servicing demands issued from Othorion manor – and preferably fulfilled out of the lord's sight. The town's businesses comprise a few artisans and a single inn, The Copper Lion.
Jan 31, 2018 12:25 pm
Petrev spies the inn and comments to his companions
Its time for ale, a warm bed and a meal. Hopefully the money from the goblins will cover it..
OOC:
do we have any of the clothes and our tickets for the ball after being subdued by the goblins?
Jan 31, 2018 12:48 pm
OOC:
Yes, the party still has everything they had before, including fancy clothes and tickets.

OOC:
Having an ale, a warm bed, and a meal presumably.
Not in that order though.
Feb 3, 2018 5:39 am
The accomodation at The Copper Lion is rustic but comfortable. After a hearty meal by the fire, the PCs retire to bed.

They awake in the morning to find breakfast being served. Evidently other party guests are also staying in the inn, as several richly-dressed customers obviously do not fit with the inn's modest trappings.
OOC:
It is now the day of the party. Othorion manor is about twenty minutes away by foot. The meeting referred to in Davrick's note takes place at noon. How do you spend the morning?
Feb 4, 2018 1:35 am
Mantra, already dressed and ready, begins by improving his reputation with the other party-people. He pulls out his lute and leisurely tunes it in a chair in the corner of the common room. He then begins to play and sing a song about a happy-go-lucky traveler who gets past all of the complications of his journey through luck.
