I - de Souza's Ashes

Georg walks towards the heated discussion, if stopped he'll just stop and state is from where he's stopped "Mista Cedar you had something to talk to us about for Mista de Souza I beleive. There is something possibly related to his departure we need to attended involving someone's death that has or is going to happen. We need to talk now, Please!"

Shaow looks at Frank, then whispers to the fey.

"I do believe this is the sort of situation where you shine... unless you'd prefer I force my way in. I doubt they'd be able to stop me..."

Having been an unstoppable force of justice and vengeance for over 2000 years, Shaow is quite confident in his claim: very few in the past have been able to stop the terracotta warrior, at least, not for any significant amount of time...

Frank grins at Shaow,

"Hey, I always shine! he says, then he saunters up behind Georg and eyes the guards over his shoulder for a moment, trying to get a feel for them.

He slips out from behind the prophet and approaches the dreadlocked lady,

"I know you, right? Sure, I've seen you around. Listen, my phone is being, like, a total pain and not showing my messages so I'm a bit late for this meeting. I can't believe they started without me!"

He peers into the conservatory as he talks and starts to edge around the guards,

"Hey, when I come back out we should catch up!"

She looks up at you, looks through one of the glass doors at Cedar and sees that he's got a pleased expression, shrugs and lets you open the door. Cedar walks over to it as it opens, the arguing of the Coalition echoing from within. He looks exasperated, but at least happy to see a face that isn't shouting at him.

You've got three options to pick from the Mislead option, I assume you've taken Confuse them for Some Time, so also pick two more
"Yves. Good to see you. Sorry this is taking so long. de Souza's passing has left them all with a lot on their plates", he reaches into his pocket and pulls out five manilla envelopes, one addressed to each of you (and Perspehone), "Look, I can't get away from them for long but de Souza left clear instructions to leave you all these letters. There's some matters about his estate to go through as well but above all else he demanded this first and foremost in his Will as a priority and..."

A glass breaks behind him. Louder shouting and snarling.

"I'm sorry. I need to go deal with this.". He stuffs the envelopes into Yves hands and goes back to try and break up the fighting

Wouldn't this sudden fighting in De Souza's estate trigger one of my instincts? Like protect the valuable and/or break the defiant?

Confuse sounds good, along with Create an Opportunity and Avoid Further Entanglement. Could the guard lady take a bit of a shine to Frank? He might be scratching her behind the ears later.

Georg looks at the escalating situation and tries to see who's make the most noise and who's making the least.

Sure, you can get a look at the scene quickly. Everything is still nicely organised in the room aside from two chairs thrown backwards in anger and the remnants of a crystal tumbler and the whisky it contained sliding down the side of a wall.

Carmen's the one who's thrown the glass. She's snarling at Sheila who is staring daggers back at her. The wolf and the vamp are yelling at each other about a recent security contract, totally unrelated to what's going on right now. Trish looks on with the mild "disappointed in you" look that only a teacher or an expert mage can give, while Jerome has taken it upon himself to play peacemaker between the two.

Neither of those two are firing right now; the glass is comparatively worthless compared to what's being discussed as parts of the will and the entire thing is a show of bluster between the parties involved; veiled threats that are boiling over a little, unlikely to come to actual blows. But with so much political power in one place your "serve the powerful" one is starting to flinch the longer you're here.

You're pretty sure you catch her checking you out as you go past her.

"Perhaps we should leave now and read our envelopes on the way to Georg's employer. The situation here is starting to make me... uncomfortable..."

"I agree the council has their own mediator and time is something we don't have a lot of at the moment."

"Yeah, I hear what yer sayin’," says Frank, only reluctantly taking his eyes off the confrontation going on in the conservatory, "but this is just gettin’ good. Still, I am pretty curious what’s in here."

He taps the envelope against his right palm several times, then finally comes to a decision,

"Okay, we’ll do it your way."

As he walks back out of the room he deposits another one of his cards with the guard.

"Don’t keep me waitin’ baby. As soon as you get off, okay?"

By the time Frank has finished chatting up the guard Partition is already by the coat check, coat and hat in one hand and fobwatch impatiently open in the other.

Once outside, Shaw will wait to see who's car the party will take since he has no car of his own.
