OOC:
Dang, those are low initiatives for our enemies *lol*.
Balak is going to roar with as much ferocity as he can muster (bonus action to RAGE), then run up to the zombie and take aim for his head.

Surely we can come to some kind of understanding, Dazzle says in a soothing tone even as he moves beyond Balak for cover.
OOC:
Dazzle casts Charm Person, DC 14.

Rolls

Initiative - (1d20+4)

(7) + 4 = 11

Feb 24, 2018 4:21 am
"Understanding?"

Wisdom save - (1d20+1)

(9) + 1 = 10

Advantage - (1d20+1)

(11) + 1 = 12

OOC:
Will, I guess he's charmed.
"Hold my pretties. These are guests!" The zombie and the skeletons freeze in place.
Feb 24, 2018 1:08 pm
Dazzle smiles enchantingly. He is, of course, disgusted by the hermit, but by all accounts he's just made a new best friend. My retinue and I are wondering if your services are for hire. We could create a mutually beneficial business arrangement. Have you ever considered how lucrative the performing arts can be to those with vision and talent?

While providing a distraction, Dazzle subtly gestures for the others to surround their foe.

"I am Oreioth, the Lord of Lance Rock! I have little time for endeavours, but for you, I will listen to your proposal. What do you need?" His eyes dart between the others while conversing with Dazzle.

If you're going to attempt to surround him, how about Deception rolls from everybody. One failure won't break break the plan, but several will.

As he speaks, Dazzle gestures broadly with him arms, his voice rising and falling with dramatic effect, painting his scene with vivid detail.

Well there are a number of logistical concerns that we'll need to work through. But, let's talk big picture. Imagine thousands of people gathered from all over the Dessarin Valley, waiting with breathless anticipation for a spectacle that, they have been told, will transcend their wildest dreams. The illusory curtain lifts, and upon the stage are arrayed a dozen of your finest creations. We'll ensure that artisan craftsfolk are brought in to dress the actors with costumes that will transport the audience into the story, and we'll import the finest makeup from across the realms to give our performers an otherworldly appearance that simply cannot be matched by the living. Are you following me so far?

Deception with advantage from Charm Person - (1d20+6)

(1) + 6 = 7

Feb 24, 2018 3:39 pm
I work my into the room trying to appear casual and non threatening. I put away my crossbow and pull my warhammer out but keep it sitting on my shoulder as if I don’t intend on using it.

Rolls

Deception/advantage? - (1D20-1, 1d20-1)

1D20-1 : (10) - 1 = 9

1d20-1 : (15) - 1 = 14

Feb 24, 2018 11:40 pm
After Balak whacked the zombie's head like Gallagher whacks a watermelon, he notices that the man is intrigued, so Balak approaches, dropping out of rage
OOC:
dang you, Dazzle!
, and walks plumly towards the Lord of Lance Rock.

Rolls

Deception - (1d20+2)

(5) + 2 = 7

Feb 25, 2018 1:48 am
You are a necromancer, yes? I happen to dabble in the art myself. Perhaps you need a new apprentice? I ask.
Feb 26, 2018 4:23 am
"Talk fast." Xella slowly walks forward, waiting for the moment that she can rush in and kill these creatures dead for good.

Rolls

Deception - (1d20+3)

(1) + 3 = 4

Feb 26, 2018 4:41 am
Your team manages to surround him, but the necromancer senses waves of hostility coming from Balak and Xella. He says to Dazzle, "I'll just kill these meddlesome fleshlings. They will serve us both better in a moment." He fingers a small April reagent pouch at his belt, does not act right away, searching Dazzle's face for.... approval, maybe?
Feb 26, 2018 7:20 am
Meddlesome?!? I'll show you meddlesome!

Balak takes a swings at Oreioth's head.

Rolls

Warhammer attack on Oreioth's head - (1d20+6)

(11) + 6 = 17

Warhammer damage on Oreioth's head - (1d8+4)

(3) + 4 = 7

Feb 26, 2018 6:31 pm
]lBalak strikes totally almost unexpectedly.

Let's just continue the initiative order, from Balak, as if everyone had skipped their last action. I think Alyx and Walter and Xella all need to roll their initiatives, but certainty Sorgrimm and Dazzle can act before the NPCs.

Sorgrimm (init 13)
Balak (init 13)
Dazzle (init 11)
LoLR (init 10): 7 damage
S1 (init 9): x/x
S2 (init 9): x/x
S3 (init 9): x/x
S4 (init 9): x/x
Zombie (init 2): 8/22
Feb 26, 2018 7:31 pm
Sclasclemski says:
Sorgrimm walks over to Balak and places a hand on his shoulder. Closes his eyes as the amulet around his neck begins to glow with divine energy.

Casts
[ +- ] Cure Wounds
I forgot that I have this feature

Disciple of Life Notes
Also starting at 1st level, your healing spells are more effective. Whenever you use a spell of 1st level or higher to restore hit points to a creature, the creature regains additional hit points equal to 2+the spells level.

so Balak should get an additional 3 points on top of the 11 he received...it should have been 1d8+6 instead of 3
Feb 26, 2018 8:01 pm
Seeing his brilliant plan burst apart at the seams, Dazzle sighs in exasperation.

Folks, we're really going to have to improve your acting skills or we're never going to pull off any heists. I'll organize a workshop for us.

As for you, Oreioth, have you heard the one about when zombies go to sleep? Once they are DEAD TIRED! Get it?
OOC:
Dazzle is casting Hideous Laughter, DC 14, and which requires concentration. Of particular note, "At the end of each of its turns, and each time it takes damage, the target can make another Wisdom saving throw. The target has advantage on the saving throw if it's triggered by damage. On a success, the spell ends."
