Felicia nods gently as Dazzle regales her with another sordid tale. Good gods can the man tell a story about anything. I'd listen to him narrate a fly dying on the window, given a chance.

With a smile she points one finger at the other bandit on the left and a string of mystical words falls out, launching a bolt of energy at the man. Even as it launches out, she whispers into his mind. Show me yours, I'll show you mine.

Alyx's Firebolt misses the bandit, and startled the caged bear, who begins to roast and thrash about.

The two bandits, plus a third that was hidden well, farther back on the right, all fire at Balak who had so disturbed their sanctuary...

Two bolts strike Balak, for 18 damage.

The bear does not break free from the cage.

Sorgrimm is up and then it will be next round and everybody else can act again.

Balak yells in pain as he feels 2 pinpricks into his skin.

He yells loudly, rushes up to the next closest one, and two-handed smacks the thing with the battleaxe.

I just also realized that two-handed, the battleaxe should do 2d10 damage, not just 2d8. I'll roll that going forward.

PHB pg. 149 (Ch. 5 - Equipment)

Battleaxe is a Versatile weapon, meaning that when used one-handed, you roll a d8 for damage, but when used with two hands the damage die increases to a d10. Since it is oversized, I get 2 instead of 1.
