Leylin opens the door to reveal three Redbrands conversing on the bed. He releases an arrow at one of them but misjudged it and the arrow shatters against the far wall. Leylin then gracefully leaps across the cistern, landing on the far lip. He hops down and continues down the hallway towards his allies.

The bandits immediately give chase after him with weapons drawn.

**Iniative**

Leylin hasn’t made any sound yet so no one is alerted to what is happening but I am establishing Iniative. If you come up before being alerted I will only consider movement into the hallway metagaming. Anything prep or readying action is fine.

  Maintaining my speed, I make hard turn to the right, for a moment almost running on that wall, and signal my approach with a short whistle. Noticing some new faces I squint my eyes for a second, but as there was no confrontation signs present, ignore them. Next moment I dart out of the tunnel, squeeze past Spark and someone new, fly over the crevice and after ducking behind one of the walls of the forest exit, train my crossbow on the tunnel - ready to shoot at any redbrand within my sights...

Talent (Light Step +10 speed, etc) 「bonus」Move (40ft, that includes long jump) 「movement」Ready Action (Attack any enemy that appears) 「action」

Considering that in 5e diagonal movement is still 5ft per square, Leylin should be able to end his movement 2sq left and 1sq down of Shenea

Hal moves over just a few feat and levels his bow, aiming down the length of the hallway. He waits.

I don't know how to do those fancy things with the actions and whatnot but I am just moving diagonally one square southwest and ready an attack for when I see an enemy. Would we hear anything as Leylin is running back?

Leylin whistled and then ran past you so I’d say you are all on alert for trouble.

Leylin - for diagonal movement I use the 5-10-5-10 rule and I don’t believe in diagonal movement around corners. You make it across the crevasse but not behind the rock.



The Redbrands continue their pursuit of Leylin and run right into the face of Shenea and Spark.

Leylin and Hal can both take their readied attacks. The rest of the team may now go as well.

Hal let's his arrow fly at one of the pursuers. It skids off a wall and shatters as it hits the wall at the end.

As the bandit/brigand bounces back from the "push" she follows thru with a swift swing of the Mace, making cracking noises upon the torso impact.

Even if we are more than they are, I feel that we need to hurry and move to the upper part of the house. I make a quick incantation with a large circle in the air with my free hand while I get close to Shenea. With a swift movement, I push my hand toward the incoming redbrands. A powerful force gets unleashed on them and a sudden gust of wind raises me in the air and toward my ennemies.

Action: Thunderwave
Bonus: Tempestuous Magic to get behind them so that they can't run away
Movement: 10ft into my companion's space?

  Startled by the thunderous sound, I immediately look back at the staircase that leads to big barracks and a place where bugbears have to be in. After few mental curses I shift towards the forest exit and hide behind the wall, keeping crossbow ready to shoot at any enemy that comes within my sight...

#3 failed his save, so shouldn't he slam into a #1? And sandwich him to the wall?
