As she sees the nasty creature sink down, and as she makes eye contact with the charging spiderling, she rushes up at it, shield raised and sword coming down towards the creature’s head.

You hear a devilish yell come from her throat that definitely does not sound human.
OOC:
geez, these 1s!

Tianni's sword goes down as the spiderling jumps at her, missing it by a split second. Seizing the opportunity, the creature try to knock you prone for its incoming allies.

The unknown creature in the light reveals itself to be another spider-kobold as it enter the cave, gets on all four and points it abdomen at Mee'haïl as it shoots some kind of webby blob. Alert to the incoming attack, Mee'haïl cuts through the web that comes at him and gets ready for the incoming enemies.
The two spiderlings coming from the enlightened tunnel follow the shot and dash straight to Mee'haïl, attempting to take advantage from their number to chew his limbs.
OOC:

I'll wait for them to post today as per Meeh's lowest initiative :)
Nov 5, 2018 11:42 pm
OOC:
Just a heads up, as the Party Tracker usually is up to date. Party's HP (unless I missed something):
Tianni 8/11
Mee'hail 3/15
Bug 8/8
Sedor 10/11
Nov 6, 2018 5:26 am
Sedror moves forward to get a closer look and repeats his spell at the spiderling.

Rolls

Firebolt (orange spiderling) - (1d20+4)

(14) + 4 = 18

Damage - (1d10)

(5) = 5

Nov 6, 2018 9:36 am
OOC:
Unless it was a magic damage - Meeh should have 7/15 HP as he is raging and piercing damage would be halved (and in 5e it's always
rounded down)
Nov 6, 2018 10:27 pm
OOC:
I still have False Life active, so I am at full health with 5 temporary hp
Nov 7, 2018 10:51 am
I laugh at my enemies, grab the greatsword and start swinging it at strange spider creature that just scratched me...

Attack (Greatsword vs yellow spiderling) 「action」

Rolls

Attack - (1d20+5)

(10) + 5 = 15

Damage (rage-slashing) - (2d6+5)

(65) + 5 = 16

Nov 7, 2018 3:48 pm
OOC:
Kuroi, you are correct that I forgot to divide the damage. I'll fix that.
Magnus, it appears that I didn't give Sedror his HP/THP back when I said I would. So that's 1HP and 5 THP for you.

Thanks for your vigilance guys :)

Mee'haïl, your blade cleaves straight thought the spiderling and hits the second one that didn't expect it to reach him. Visibly afraid, he carefully step back dodging your assaults.
He jumps again and tries to run away as he gets fried by a sudden bolt of fire.

The strange spider-kobold, aware that he stand no chance as you literally destroyed his allies without a scratch, starts to run away. The spiderling currently fighting Tianni has nowhere to run to and keeps fighting for his life.
OOC:
Waiting for Bug's action a bit more before I default it to repeating his last action.
The fight is over, as the uncertainty of its outcome is dead and buried. If you have an action that may prevent the creature from running away, you get a chance to do it right now. Otherwise, it will disappear in seconds.
The spiderling fighting Tianni will get smashed like his pairs, unless you decide otherwise.

Each one gets 175XP!
Mee'haïl and Tianni are ready to level up whenever you take a long rest. Bug is not far behind, and Sedror is catching up!

OOC:
YAY!
Tianni yells, GET BACK HERE, YOU SNIVELING COWARD!
OOC:
She casts Vicious Mockery at the fleeing target. Save DC is 13.

Rolls

Firebolt - (1d20+4)

(6) + 4 = 10

Damage - (1d10)

(8) = 8

Attack rolls on the fleeing creature are made at disadvantage, or here comes the second rolls for each of your attacks.

Rolls

Mee'haïl : Throw javelin (piercing) - (1d20+5)

(12) + 5 = 17

Tianni : save VS your spell - (1d20-2)

(9) - 2 = 7

Sedror : Firebolt (fire) - (1d20+4)

(7) + 4 = 11

Mee'haïl's javelin flies at the fleeing creature and hits her as she turns back, surprised by the hurtful words she just heard. The attack reminds her the immediate that that is coming for her if she sticks around, and she disappears in the light coming from the outside.

Silent immediately comes back in the cave, and you only hear the death rattles of your arachnoid enemies along with the heavy breathing of your companions.
A small oil lamp on the north wall provides some light in the room, just enough to let you see the shape of your surrounding. The ground is surprisingly dry in here, especially compared to the green cave where you were standing only minutes ago. On the ground the remains of a cart rail goes east, west and south, which matches the opening that would allow you to get in and out of this room. You see two small and very dark tunnels on both sides of the southern opening that don't seem to go anywhere.
Some of you seem to need to take a break and take care of their wounds. Those of you who killed spiderlings have some kind of yellow goo on their weapons that is quickly turning brownish.

What do you do?
Nov 8, 2018 1:43 pm
Tianni will look for a cloth or something like it to wipe her blade off. If she cannot find something like that in about 30 seconds, she will approach Mee’hail, lay her hands on his head, and say, Mee’hail, with the authority and power of Selune, be healed.
OOC:
5 points of healing for Mee’hail.
After she finishes, she grabs her sword steeped in this nasty goo, and takes it over to the oil lamp, and puts the goo to the little flame to see if the goo catches on fire.

I pant heavily, watching as the creature flees. Red fog dissipates in my vision and I slowly begin to calm down. After few moment I walk forward to try and find my javelin.
OOC:
Tell me if Meeh can get it back?
About a minute later I return to my companions and accept Tianni's blessing.

— You and Night White Lady have my zanks... I say as my wounds begin to slowly mend. After gathering all my equipment back to their places, I pick up dropped torch and turn to my companions. Do ve go forrvard? Or rrest?
Nov 9, 2018 1:24 pm
Tianni, there's nothing that would look like a cloth in your immediate surroundings apart from what your party brought. When you put the goo on the little flame, it doesn't catch fire but emits a lot of very foul smelling smoke very similar to the one you smelled when Sedror burned your crawling pursuers minutes ago.

Mee'haïl, you easily retrieve your javelin in what you now recognize as the entrance of the mine. Spider-goo stains on the ground confirm that the creature fled outside. As you come back to ask your companions for rest, you see Bug carefully climbing down the opening to join you.
OOC:
I'll wave Bug's presence along with you until I hear from him. He's been silent in my other game and in his own game for some time now : must be unable to post at the moment.
Nov 12, 2018 3:31 am
Bug gives a low whistle as he joins the group.

"Well, this seems to be developing rightly on it's own. What in the seven hells is going on in this damnable cave?"
Nov 14, 2018 8:38 pm
Sedror approaches the spiderling he torched and inspects it.

Hah, looks like they burn same as anything else. Seems like we got 'em on the run! Let's finish the job!
