Emma screams "NO!" as Larry fires but she's too late. Karabekian is hit in the gut and thrown back against the wall. Larry sees him slump the ground before they leave the room.

Karabekian sits on the floor, clutching his stomach, blood welling up in between his fingers. His old self shows through for only a moment before the madness takes hold once more. He grimaces at Larry's departing back, then Karabekian breathes his last.

Emma grabs Celia and she runs with Marc and Larry through the door and back into the corridor.
You are led through seems like a maze, cobwebs still cover the walls. After what seems like hours, you find a stairway, a series of wide stone steps cut into the wall of a cavernous shaft.
