The bullet hits the thick chitin and richochets into the wall. The thing is unfazed and spins a thick, sticky looking web to encase the now screaming woman.

Take a shot at the web holding her arms?

Shooting the webs encasing her will hit her. You could shoot the web between her and the spider and hopefully release her to fall into the canyon?
Jan 23, 2020 12:49 am
She is already encased? Then shoot the web the thing was hanging on to to stay in place, maybe it’ll fall.

Larry's shot hits, but the thread holding up this massive thing is a lot thicker than those dangling into the ravine. The thing jerks and freezes, its eyes suddenly turned toward you.
OOC:
You estimate it will take three shots to take that solid thread down.

Before he realises, a dozen or so large spiders have descended from the darkness to his left and right.

There are a number of cave mouths on this side of the cavern. Three of them could be reached before the spiders reach you, the others are out of reach now.

"Go Larry, get out of there. Watch over my boy!" shouts Marc from the other side of the cavern.
Jan 29, 2020 11:56 pm
Larry runs for the cave openings, the farthest one he can safely reach.

Dodging past the descending spiders, and into a cave mouth, the screams of Celia ringing then suddenly silenced.

Larry runs what seems like hours, the cavern ending in a small tunnel mouth and a catacomb of tunnels, lined with skulls embedded in the walls. The winding tunnels eventually end in a staircase and heading up to find a stone slab that he slides aside and comes out into a graveyard late at night.

Making his way through the tombs, he soon finds the entrance.

OOC:
Does any of this look familiar to Larry?
Larry looks around and as he leans against the front gate, the exhaustion of the night has gotten to him and he feels drained. A small prayer is whispered with the first hint of a bit of humanity shows, "God, look after poor Celia."

Seeing the cemetary sign, Larry realises where he is. This is New Orleans....

Right I'm happy to wrap it up there. Fell free to make your skill rolls in case you want to use Larry again in the future.
Feb 2, 2020 11:10 pm
I'm game to keep Larry going, or if he doesn't fit another one.

With Karabekian dead(?) and Marc lost in the Dreamlands, what’s next? Recruit new players, new character for Jabes? A new campaign or another one shot?
