After a fairly long silence, in which Tomas manages to divide his attention between concentrating his thoughts and moving the spoon routinely to his lips to continue eating, the half-elf sighs and then finally speaks up.

"Well, if you're all insisting on having this conversation in front of Lena, 'the Crystal' agrees with me that we'll probably be continued to be tracked by magic. Furthermore, it thinks we should get more information. Draw the creations, and maybe the creator, out into the open. Figure out how to defeat them that way. Also... something else which I mentioned yesterday and I think is a conversation for us to have alone on the way to Mr. Sigmar's. Should we go, then?"

He finishes the meal, readies his gear, and is prepared to leave with the rest of his companions.

Well let’s move this along since you seem all "gung ho" after that beating last night! Sovelin jokes rather half heartedly as he’s not sure if it’s too soon to be making such jokes.

Tomas shakes his head at his dragonborn friend with a smile on his face.

"Those were just small scratches. Not a problem at all," he replies with a wink. He leaves the Hunter's Mark with the rest of the group. However, he soon starts to move off the direct path towards the Company Offices. After a small period of silence, he speaks up.

"Alright, so. We should talk some more. I didn't think Lena should be involved in this conversation. Might be more dangerous that way for her.

So, Spring thinks we should draw them out here, in this outpost. Skip today's ship. If that's so, an ambush is probably our strongest bet. Also, Spring said we should try to get divine protection of some sort. Maybe because the divine interferes with magic or something? I don't know, that's just what it said. It also said something about your 'Divine Gifts' and I'm guessing it was referring to the magical trinkets you said you'd talk about tomorrow. So, what's the deal with all of your things? Can they speak too? Do they know about this 'Destroyer'?"

Mine doesn't speak. In fact, I find it rather strange that yours does speak to you. Mine we found after fighting some green skeletons. No, mine just gives me pretty good luck, but I have to invoke Tymora's name while I use it. See? It has her face and her name emblazoned on its face.

What about you others? Any special items or abilities you would like to share with the group?

Sovelin waits a bit then speaks.

I got this bow from the same place that Tomas got Spring.

Sovelin shows them his bow.

It seemed to speak when we first encountered it but since then I haven’t heard anything from it. I was thinking it might have been a ancient way to teach someone a spell, since after it spoke to me I shot an arrow that separated into many arrows and froze the ground.

Did Spring have anything to say about the described (or, in Saris's case, not described) Divine Gifts?

"But you got it at the same spot that Herod got his, right? So it must be something special, even if it hasn't shown itself. As for Spring, it can teleport short distances, make people less dumb, transfer life energy from people to objects, and also open some doors. That's it, pretty much. It knows a lot too."

Tomas turns a corner and the Company Offices are in sight.

You all make your way to the two story log building which houses the trading post and the offices of The Western Trading Company. The two marines stationed outside nod as you approach and allow you to head indoors, past the trading post and up the stairs. You find Mr Sigmar's office and knock on his door.
Come on in, you hear him call through the door.

As they walk through the trading post and offices, Tomas says to his companions in an absent-minded way, "Huh, so your items come from the 'Divine Plane.' And are each connected to a god, like Tymora. The stronger your belief, the stronger the item."

When they reach the door and knock, Tomas pauses after hearing Mr. Sigmar's voice. He mouths "Who's talking?" to the others, points to each of them in turn, and shrugs.

Tomas offhandedly remarks, "No, that's just Spring, the Shard."

Seeing as no one had even so much as responded to his query and knowing Mr. Sigmar should not be left waiting, Tomas pushes open the door and finds a spot in the room to stand next to his companions.

"Late morning, Mr. Sigmar. We have urgent news for you."
