Tomas grimly brings the pickax to bear against the remaining orc after slaying its companion. Whatever he had done before seems to leave him drained but, in the heat of battle, he feels like he can keep pushing forward - just a bit.

His shield knocks aside another mighty blow of a crude greataxe and Tomas strikes at the orc's exposed arm.

The ground beneath the feet of the orc fighting Krigare suddenly explodes in a flash of orange and red flame but the orc manages to dodge out of the way befor eit hits him. Then Krigare clamly moves in and swings his sword downwards and decapitates his opponent.

Ronda can't seem to decide which of her opponents to attack, so she just looks about while the fighring continues. Her indecisiveness costing her the opportunity to attack. The orc she is fighting takes further advantage and manages to land a nasty blow on her forearm.
OOC:
Take 4 points of slashing damage.
Despite the etherial and otherworldly ringing of the bell, the orc leader seems uneffected. The large spiritual weapon also fails to land a blow on the orc leader. Faebis moves into a flanking position.

The greataxe cuts a deep gash into Tomas's upper forearm, past the bracer. For some reason, the blue magic that had protected him before didn't appear this time - and Tomas isn't sure why. It sure would have been useful as the weapon slashed at him.

Tomas can hear Serpentskell bellowing behind him but doesn't have even a moment to look over to see how the man is doing. He ignores the pain in his arm, mirrored in that of his bleeding opponent.

Leaping forward in a sudden motion, he quickly snaps the war pick towards his opponent's upper torso.

Krigare watches his enemy's head bounce of the ground. His eyes immediately snap back up and affix on the Orc Leader. Bringing his mighty sword up to a guard position he advances with steady purpose on his new target.

OOC:

Initiative Order
Herod 21
Tomas 18
Krigare 14
Ronda 7
Faebis 7
Orc 6
Herod launches a massive strike with his staff but the leader of the orcs manages to dodge out of the way, but Herod follows it up with a spinning round kick which catches the leader of the orcs in its knee and it shrieks in pain.

Then Krigare moves in and thrusts his greatsword into the creature's torso. It gurgles, and starts spitting up blood. The wound is clearly mortal.

Then Ronda appears and delivers two body shots to the orc leader which collapse its longs. Its head lulls to the side and it loses consciousness.

A split second later, Faebis' mace strikes the last orc who was helping the leader. His mace hits it from the left while his spiritual weapon hits it from the right. Its torso explodes and his shield and armour and Ronda are now covered with gore.

Tomas effortlessly dispatches the orc he is fighting with a quick backhand swipe which catches the orc on the side of its head and crushes its skull. The orc drops to the ground, dead.

Serpentskull is still battling the group of six orcs by himself. He is looking pretty exhausted and is probably soon going to be overwhelmed. He is fighting about 60 feet away from the orc leader and 30 feet away from Tomas.
OOC:
Summary
Everyone is unengaged.

Turns until Serpentskull is overwhelmed: 3

That's it everyone.

Round 6 fight!
Oct 15, 2018 10:09 am
Krigare pulls his sword free of the corpse, flicks his wrist to spray the excess blood and gore free from the blade, and turns to sprint to Serpentskull.
OOC:
Move 60' to aid his ally.
Oct 15, 2018 2:40 pm
Gotta keep moving, keep moving, that is the reality of battle. The alternative is to fall, flesh growing cold. Tomas catches his mind in the few moments of tense calm as he ends his last foe and looks for the next threat. The orc leader is dead or soon to be, surrounded by his companions. Mirroring that, Serpentskull is being rapidly covered in wounds from the six orcs that surround him.

Tomas's feet move him towards his next objective, to help the massive lumberjack, but he can't help but glance down. He's only ever killed evil wizards before - well, ones he was told were evil. As Tomas runs, he finds words, "We can rout them! Their leader's dead; shout it!"

Directly behind Serpentskull's melee - Tomas begins yelling a warcry and slamming his weapon against his shield - willing the fools to look, see the remains of their leader, and flee to their women and children.
OOC:
Edit: Also -2 for intimidation. Also, I probably should have made this a flavored Help action instead. Oh well.

OOC:
Move 30ft, javelin throw.

EDIT: Forgive me, I added rage damage bonus to that, but shouldn't have, because it was a ranged attack!

OOC:

Initiative Order
Herod 21
Tomas 18
Krigare 14
Ronda 7
Faebis 7
Orc 6
Herod and Faebis mill about as if unsure what to do next.

Tomas rushes up to the orcs and attempts to intimidate them into retreating. The orcs seem to consider his words for a moment and three of them turn and flee towards the forest.
OOC:
@Krigare and Tomas: You may take AOO if you like.

@Tomas: If you wish to try and get your foes to flee while i combat then you have to use intimidate rather than persuasion. Also, the check will be at disadvantage unless you have a good reason (like you just killed their leader). Just so you know going forward :)
Ronda launches a javelin at one of the remaining orcs and its strikes it in the shoulder.

The three remaining orcs concentrate their attacks on Serpentskull.
OOC:

Summary: Krigare and Tomas are fighting three orcs.
Everyone else is unengaged.

Round 7 Fight!
Oct 16, 2018 1:37 pm
Tomas ignores the sensible orcs that understand the situation and flee back to the arms of their loved ones. With a heavy heart, Tomas strikes at the other shoulder of the orc that Ronda targeted. While he misses, with this brief respite from the threat of personal death and the end of this senseless fray in sight, Tomas feels a bit of hope and motivation. Just a bit more blood to spill.
OOC:
Edit: Wow, back to full. I guess Tomas's luck isn't all the way gone.
