Yeah, I like swashbuckler and almost went that route. I figured (at the time) we could use the AT skills more than a pure melee build. I also figured I could play him with the personality regardless. His backstory and personality won't change. I like them too much.
But an avatar and a subclass are easy to change (right now) if the group prefers I go a slightly different way with him. I'm fine with pure face/swashbuckler. I just need to know if that works better before we get underway.
Ah, that's why then. You do whatever you want to for him though, not trying to pressure you into anything. We've already got all our bases covered so there's really no need. I was just curious.
P.S. Ew, maths.
Not feeling pressured in the slightest :)
Genuinely happy for (and appreciative of) the feedback. Don't stop!
I was seriously agonizing over whether to go Swash or AT. I could still go either way and if one way helps the team out more that would push me over the edge. Minus any input, I'll go AT because "yay magic". Either way, he'll be a fun character and his personality is locked in.
It just comes down to do we need the extra melee or the extra craftiness/versatility? Don't think there's a bad choice.
