Prologue: Troubles at Red Larch.

To verify the marching order, it is:

1. Keavan and Falka up front
2. Midnight and Breezy in the middle
3. Vardo and Yohna in the back

Is this correct?
The party gathers into their formation and enters the cave. The cave's floor seems relatively smooth for what appears to be a naturally formed cave. The cave's corridor is about 8-10 feet wide and 20 feet high, in a gradual slope downwards. The party can see that it opens up into a small cavern. There is a lit torch on a sconce of wrought iron on the other side of the cavern next to which you can see a small pathway. There's a tiny strea of water to the left side of the cavern.

Vardo sheathes his rapier and draws his bow, ready to defend his compatriots at range. Despite his rearguard position, he uses his elven eyes to scan into the shadows ahead - on the watch for any movement or sign of potential trap.

Yohna begins walking with careful step, keeping her eyes scanning the room and particularly wary of any bandits who might be hiding outside attack from behind to pen them in. "I'd place my bets on them being around the corner at that opening down there." She whispers, nodding towards the wider section they were approaching that she could only just make out. Her grip tightens on the symbol about her neck, and her arm is ready to raise her shield at a moment's notice. "If that's not the case, it's possible they've retreated all the way in and grouped up, in which case we may find ourselves woefully outnumbered..."

As they begin to move down into the cave, Breezy pauses a moment, murmuring to himself. His eyes glow a bluish-white, and the whispers he evokes begin to raise slightly in tone. The air around him drops rapidly, and the very air seems to condense all around his form. When the whispering ends, a shimmering coat of blue and white ice surrounds his form like and extra skin.

"Lord of ice and air, protect your humble ssservant. he says as he raises his crossbow.

As the party approaches the end of the corridor into the cavern, they notice a pair of faint shadows wavering in the cavern floor off to the right - it clearly looks like two humanoids behind a low wall waiting. They grip their weapons ready as they enter the cavern.
OOC:
Initiative time everyone. The second phase of the battle begins!

The two bandits have crossbow bolts at the ready along with scimitars on their belts. Similar to other bandits they wear white scarves over the lower half of their faces. They are behind a low wall giving them 1/2 cover. Jumping over the wall will be considered difficult terrain. Also remember that moving through spaces occupied by allies are also consider difficult terrain.

Breezy moves further into the chamber, seeking to get a better angle on those two hidden behind the low wall. Once again, he begins to murmur to himself, and his eyes flare back up into a bluish-white glow as he pulls forth the arcane energy flowing all around them. With a low hiss, he exclaims "Lord of ice and air, strike true my enemies!"

A pulsing radiant blue energy coalesces above the bandit on the right, streaking down on him from above.

I think since everyone rolled so well on their initiative, we should make a custom rule that lets one player pass a few of their initiative points over to Breezy.... just saying. :/

Midnight sneaks around the corner and summons a putrid green bubble that she blows like a kiss to the bandits behind the wall. She giggles quietly, which echoes in the cave creepily.

Her mind immediately snapping to attention, Falka runs ahead to occupy their enemies. In one motion, she jumps the stone wall and brings her glaive crashing down on the nearest brigand.

Since Breezy's turn will come sometime next week, he will just chillax and wait. On his turn, he will execute the above mentioned movement and spell attack.

MIdnight nimbly pass between Keavans leg to get ahead into the cavern and begin her incantation while moving her hands in semi-circular motion. Between her hand a sickly green smokey orb materialized. She pushes her hands forward launching the orb aiming in between the two bandits. But, in her haste she miscalculates and the orb bursts a bit earlier than expected, the acid barely reaching the two bandits. The bandit to the left easily dodges the acid splash, but the one on the right isn't so lucky and a small bit splashes onto his left arm giving him a minor acid burn.

As if on cue, as the orb of acid bursts, Falka charges ahead with determined look in her face. She leaps onto the wall on her right foot and in a single motion springs off the top and brings down the glaive onto the hapless bandit (bandit to the right), striking a solid blow between his shoulder and neck. Pushing off the bandit's abdomen, Falka pulls the glaive off leaving behind a sizeable deep gash - blood pouring out like a grotesque fountain. The bandit's eyes widen. He drops his crossbow going for the scimitar but, his body would not listen. He puts his other hand on the wound - as if to stem the flow of blood now soaking the entire leftside of his body. His eyes blink - body twitches - involuntarily, and soon fall to the ground with last vestige of his life leaving him.

A tall and muscular figure with grayish skin and face resembling that of a pig emerges from the narrow corridor to the north holding a javelin in its left hand and an ornate greataxe on its back. The blades of the greataxe is sharp but the length of it is stained in coat of brownish red. There is a large scar the crosses his left eye. On his lower jaw there is a remnants of two broken tusks. He has an aura of defiance and intelligence lacking in his kin. His face twists in mocking sneer. "So. Intrepid bounty hunters. You look for Grum? Well, Grum is here. What is my head worth these days? Enough to trade your lives for? Well, come and get me then!" He lets out a powerful growl and throws the javelin straight toward Falka.

Really sorry Falka, not picking on you, just you're the most convenient target.

EDIT: Pretty sure that hits. 8 pts of damage.
As javelin pierces through Falka's side, Grum yells out "Regroup men!" With that Grum recedes back into the narrow pathway.
