Midnight hurries over next to Yohna and crouches behind the wall. She says quietly, "If they follow him down that tunnel he's going to skewer them all on the end of a javelin like a big hero-kebab!" Realizing that what she just said is probably true and feeling a sudden fear for her new companions wash over her, she speaks louder so that Keaven and Vardo can hear: "GUYS! Don't go in the tunnel!"

Falka roars with horrifying mirth as man after man collapses lifelessly to the stone. As she lumbers menacingly towards the next, she gazes down the bloodied length of her blade into his eyes. She licks her lips frighteningly before thrusting her glaive at him.

The bandit nimbly sidesteps the thrust of the glaive and draws his scimitar ready to engage the dwarven barbarian.


Meanwhile, Grum moves further down the corridor. "Come battle me, man to man if you've got the guts!"

Here's what Keavan sees when peaking around the corner.

He sees Grum waiting with his greataxe in hand at the end of the narrow corridor and he sees the corridor open up to a large cavern that is furnished and lit. Obviously some kind of living quarters.

Seeing Falka miss her attack by a hair's breadth, Yohna moves into the middle of the room, where she can see the remaining bandit over the dwarf's shoulder. She raises two fingers, then draws a line down until she points towards Falka's target. "Scorch them!" She cried, calling down a streak of silvery flames upon the bandit.

Also, you trigger Grum's readied action as you move in.

(I'll update this post with descriptive text once the DEX save is rolled.)
As Keavan closes in on Grum, a part of the ground gives in (about 1.5 foot square area) revealing a hole a foot deep. Around the hole is a line of sharp iron nails pointing at a downwards angle into the pit. Keavan fortunately has enough footing to avoid his foot being trapped by the hole.

Grum, anticipating the move swings his greataxe. Distracted by the trap, Keavan is unable to dodge the blow and is gashed across his shoulder blade. Keavan swing back at Grum in reaction but the attempt is relatively feeble as he recovers from the blow and cannot penetrate protective layer of Grum's studded leather.
OOC:
If you failed the save it would have rendered you restrained, not that it would have mattered with Grum's attack roll. It would also have taken a full action to unrestrain yourself without taking damage.
