Taking a solid hit, Keavan recoils away from Grum for a moment, then stands straight again, a grim look on his face.

Second wind - (1d10+1)

(4) + 1 = 5

OOC:

Run Vardo, Run! Save Keavan! :D
Is the wall next to Breezy considered difficult terrain? Meaning it would cost me 3 as opposed to 1.5 to LU?

OOC:
Save me? Phah!
But yeah, snipe this mook.
Aug 31, 2018 1:09 pm
OOC:
Ket, the wall is indeed considered difficult terrain, but I will grant an athletics or acrobatic check to "hurdle" over the wall in one big leap to avoid difficult terrain. the downside is if you fail, your foot is caught and you'll be proned.

OOC:
Breezy don't do athlete stuff... :D
With Falka and Yohna seemingly engaged with the lone bandit to the south, and Midnight there as well should the need arise, Breezy elects to join his new comrades in dealing with this Grum creature. He had seen the devastation wrought by the beast and it needed to stop; right now.

Quickly hopping over the wall, Breezy runs down the tunnel to where Keavan and Vardo are engaging the creature.

OOC:
Goring through a space occupied by an ally is considered difficult terrain (you can't go through space occupied by an enemy at all - unless you're a halfling iirc). But, let's wait until we see what Vardo does, he may end up moving to where you want to. Then we'll resolve your action.
Aug 31, 2018 2:45 pm
Vardo registers the flurry of back and forth between his friend and the Bandit leader. Seeing his opponent tied up, he unleashes his arrow in a vicious sneak attack.

OOC:
Great time for that roll!
Do I double the sneak attack damage too (I think so, but waiting for your ruling).

Sneak Attack - (1D6)

Added Crit damage - (1d8)

OOC:
Yes. Sneak attack die also doubles per RAW which is what I’m using. I’m not home brewing crits. So roll additional d6
Btw you’ll have to move at least one square up to get a line of sight. I’m assuming you’re doing this.

OOC:
Yes, that's what I'm doing.

Total 19 dmg.

OOC:
Vardo just Robin Hooded this fool. I.e. one shotted - just barely, in fact exact amount needed. Tsavo, please describe Vardo's glorious kill.

As for the remaining bandit...
Bandit takes a swing towards Falka's mid-section with his scimitar. Falka, easily parries the swing with the shaft of her glaive.
OOC:
Breezy take your turn now.

Vardo leans to his right, sighting past Keavan's shoulder and fires. His arrow whistles past his friend's ear and buries itself in Grum's eye socket. The bandit gives a short sharp gasp, falls to his knees, and pitches forward - dead.

Vardo calmly strolls over to stand over his kill. Looking down at the villain he says, "That's for making me bleed my own blood." With a wet shlunk, he pulls his arrow from the creature's skull and returns it to his quiver.

He then turns to Keavan, "You ok?"

"I have had worse." Keavan shrugs.
"we should make sure we have got them all."
Aug 31, 2018 6:02 pm
Vardo nods and follows Keavan back to the main room.
Aug 31, 2018 6:12 pm
OOC:
Breezy will keep his action as stated, as he has no idea that Grum would fall so easily.
Arriving in the aftermath, Breezy eyes Vardo with awe and admiration. "Falka isss engaged with one back there. I will watch here for othersss. Do you require healing? he looks at both Vardo and Keavan.

After helping his comrades, Breezy investigates the chamber they are in.
OOC:
Breezy will use his second Healing Light for whoever is worse off if they want.

OOC:
Breezy enters the large chamber. It's obviously the living quarters of the bandit leader, Grum. There's a cot to the north with a wooden work table and a chest with a prominent lock. On the far side is a small dining table. He doesn't see anyone in here.

"Give the healing to Vardo, he probably needs it more."
Sep 1, 2018 5:13 am
"Keavan! Vardo, is he okay? Breezy!" Midnight hops over the wall and runs down the corridor out of concern for her friends, not really considering the danger that might still remain. When she rounds the bend and sees the big orc dead, she breathes a sigh of relief and hugs Keavan around the knees. "Vardo, you got him! Yeah!"
OOC:
LU,U,LU,LU
Sep 1, 2018 2:17 pm
Vardo smiles at the concerns shown for him and Keavan by the diminutive wizardess. "We got him," he corrects with a smile. "Let's check on our friends," he adds while quickly moving back toward the main room, "there'll be time for celebrating later."
Sep 1, 2018 3:45 pm
Yesss. Falka ssstill battlesss one below. Breezy chimes in, turning to head back.
OOC:
Breezy will forgo any healing unless someone is in dire need. Making a mental note to raid the bandit lair after all threats are taken care of. Normal movement back the way he came.
