@MattParody Slaad Symbiote sorcerous origin should be available now on D&D Beyond for characters submitted there. We recently realized that we'll need to revamp the subclass though since having Symbiotic Resistance at 1st level makes it a REALLY powerful multiclass option. But you're more than welcome to test the current version! Just know it might be changed.

@Campeador - this next playtest will be happening in Chult in the Forgotten Realms, which is a big jungle. So... I guess forest or swamp? This particular adventure is also along the coast.

Speaking of, the thread for the 2nd group is now open. So Tok'ra, Rettle, Galtak, Sedna, and Duren are up in this adventure here!

In my head I already had Mage Armor up (something I would have done before entering a dungeon) but reading back now I realize I never stated it (and never spent the spell slot for it) so yeah my AC is 12 and that would have hit.

I will cast Mage Armor once we get a chance to rest. How about Fins Familiar? Can we say I had already ritual cast it before the adventure began?

@Campeador - Yep, Find Familiar is cool. You can certainly have cast it as a ritual beforehand.
