OOC:
Thinking about it, isn't there a chance Astrias would be familiar with these waters? Is there some roll she can make? Nature perhaps? Also she can do the Aquaman thing and speak to the fishes. I don't even think we need a map lol. Here's my nature roll just in case anyway

Rolls

Nature - (1d20+9)

(15) + 9 = 24

Astrias is in fact very familiar with these waters... underneath the surface. She knows what a fish would know: chasms and trenches, shelfs, reefs, rises, mountains, vents, volcanoes... all underwater. Of human lands (inhabited or not) all she knows is there's a big one over there, there's a group of small ones over there, etc. Which still means she knows enough to paint or draw a simple map from memory.
OOC:
Dammit, that means I'm gonna have to come up with some actual maps now! LOL!
The_Librarian says:
"I'm sorry mate...but we were badly blown off course. We dinae ken where we are."
That is quite an understatement. Not only have you not recognized any of the constellations, but this place has at least three damn moons while your world only has one!
Jabes.plays.RPG says:
Zale stays hidden by lying flat on his stomach. By the light of the three risen moons he sees a hulking figure loping up the path and moving towards the hut.

Grog causally saunters along, keeping a wolven eye on them through his peripheral vision. He has the odd cohesive thought of finding someone that might sell the proper powder and ammo for his pistols.
Nov 25, 2019 10:20 am
Grog is able to find a firearms merchant. The sign out front reads GRAN'S GUNS. Inside, he finds Gran standing tip-toes on a barrel of gunpowder rearranging the top rack of weapons. "Welcome, young man!" she calls in a sing-song voice before she gets a good look at Grog.

"Oh my, forgive me master dwarf!" Gran giggles. "Why, I bet you're twice my age!"

The old woman, surprisingly spry for her age, hops down from the barrel. "Don't be shy -- have yourself a look around!"
OOC:
You'll find all firearms as listed here.

Jineer will try and attempt to get the location of Fyre Fest through these girls.

"I overheard you ladies speaking of a Music Festival coming up, it sounds like a marvelous time."

Do we REALLY need the map....or can we just fast forward to our destination when we travel ;)

OOC:
No, you don't really need a map. Even if we say the PCs got their hands on a map, you players don't really need one.

Hic ... Nela feeling just fine.
Dec 2, 2019 10:59 pm
Astrias will instead head to the Last Resort and order an assortment of raw seafood before setting off.
Dec 2, 2019 11:30 pm
Phillip will take the trinkets feeling the "payment" sufficient. He keeps an ear on the couple while looking at the other brick-a-brack and sipping on his umbrella drink.
"Now this is how to live.. I need more of these drinks when i get home." he mutters to himself.
Dec 4, 2019 11:05 pm
Grog pulls out his newly acquired axe-pistols and starts points down the barrel and making bang sounds, trying to gesture that would like to purchase some powder and shot.

"Grog! Grog grog groooog. Groggy grog!"
OOC:
This just in: get your gigantamax Grog this next barbarian rage!
Note to self/others: that'd be a fun thing to call Grog if he's ever empowered with Enlarge.

Zale turns to Ian and pulls a face when Bob isn't looking. "Uhh...thank you, Bob, sir, but maybe we made a mistake coming here?"
Dec 11, 2019 8:17 pm
Ian, Zale (Bob's studio)

"We don't make mistakes here," Bob replies. "We have happy accidents."

He hums happily to himself as he adds some more detail to the fantastic underseascape coming to life on his canvas. "I think everybody should have a little friend -- even a kraken. Even a kraken needs a friend."
Grog (Gran's Guns)

Gran supplies you with all the ordnance you need. (here are the prices).

"There you go, dearie," Gran says. "Tell your friends about our little shop. We can buy your unwanted stuff as well. And not just guns."
Astrias (The Last Resort)

The Last Resort is a riot of sights, sounds, smells, and tastes you've never experienced before. Look at this stuff. Isn't it neat?! Don't you just love, love to explore this shore up above? Out of the sea... could you really be... part of this world?
Phillip (walking about)

You walk around, enjoying your drink and your trinkets. Finally, your vacation doesn't suck so bad! The elderly halfling couple finally work up the courage to approach you.

"We heard you're part of the crew that took down that fellow Stampes and his hooligans. We have a proposition for you."
Jineer (The Elegant Eel)

The Fyre girls flock around you, the most stunning person in the room, like leeches attaching themselves to the fattest fool to cross their path. They talk about the festival to be held on a remote island rumored to be a former pirate hideout. They're all extremely excited to go, but haven't managed to make transportation arrangements. "You wouldn't happen to know of a ship we can hire, do you?"
Jack, Nela, Pelner (on board the Kestrel)

Pelner makes considerable progress with his build. The platforms for his arcane turrets along the Kestrel's gunwales are looking great.

Things are finally looking up! He thinks. Now if only i knew what these old peoples want.

"AH! He responds, "I didn't do anything actually. I'm just a passenger you see" He points to his attire. "But I can take you to the people responsible for that mayhem." He takes a long draw from the straw till the sucking noises begin to overwhelm his hearing.

"I guess its time for another!" He says with glee.
Dec 12, 2019 12:23 pm
Can we buy one o yer paintings?...erm maps?
Dec 12, 2019 10:20 pm
Grog counts out the coin, the one thing he does know how to do outside of drinking and fighting, handing over 15 gold and stowing the shot. He thanks the elderly shopkeep in his own Grogy way and heads back out.
If nothing catches his attention, he'll simply head back to the ship.
Dec 12, 2019 11:58 pm
Astrias still doesn't quite understand cooking. After enjoying a raw steak of tuna, she decides to be adventurous and try out a cooked meal - a bowl of seafood soup. "Bizarre...." She mumbles to no one in particular as she slurps the first spoonful. "So many different tastes together...."
Dec 13, 2019 3:10 pm
"I just might know of a ship that could provide passage there, if you ladies wouldn't mind waiting for a short time i can make arrangements for you."
Dec 18, 2019 6:49 am
Zale surreptitiously gives Ian a "this guy's crazy, let's get out of here!" gesture.
