[IC] Graveyard Shift: Session 1
Gorzo drains the last of his ale and belches. "Look, I got a business to run. I'd best be on me way. You done with me?"
@Remnant any question you wanted to conclude with? I might come up with one later but I'm a bit stumped at the moment for the last question, plus I feel like you should have one if you want.
Remnant and Somebox, you are down 4 silvers each on your per diem (leaving you with 6 each).
Steef and CESN: I'm assuming you just stop by a stall somewhere and buy rations, since you're a bit rushed. That's 2 silvers each for a day's rations (3 meals' worth). Then 1 silver each for a wagon to the library. Total = 3 silvers each, leaving you with 7 for the rest of the day.
You can always spend your own pocket money if you go over your per diem.

In this case, the library specializes in the Barony of Cailn (which Nornholt is part of). Since the Dribbage family is part of that barony (and has been for at least a century or so), let's say the difficulty is reduced once. You get a boost (B) because Nekurr is helping you look. I'll give you a second boost (B) because Mengus is royalty within this barony. You get a setback (black = K) because it's so damned hot.
Final roll should be YGGBB + PPPK. If you want to spend a Story Point, replace that with YYGBB + PPPK.

Information on the Dribbage family again.
5 Success, 2 Advantage, 5 Failure, 1 Threat
Total: 1 Advantage
Also, remember to give me ideas for how you want to spend advantages. You have 1 advantage, so how would you like to spend it? Find something interesting but unrelated? Find a silver coin under a book? :)
During the cart ride Nera is frequently looking out at the bustling streets they are able to fly pass the civilians. "I'd say we learned more about Vizerion compared to the thief. Man hasn't been robbed in years because of undead, but now someone comes along and steals from him after he's missing? We need to check out his house, bet he's got all kinds of...clues there." For a split second a glint of greed is in her eyes.
"The Elders of the Churches, eager to avoid another Plague of the Undead, as Terrinoth had suffered during the Second Darkness, instituted firm Protocols to ensure that the Dead of these Cemeteries were faithful, honest folk, who received all the proper Rites and Burials, so as to prevent them from being raised from the Dead by any Evil-Doer, such as a Necromancer or unscrupulous Rune Lord, for Ever and Ever, Amen."
You realize that it's nearly time to rendezvous with the others at the Hill's Gate, so you head back outside into the afternoon sun.
As Barvek and Hildar enter the constabulary's main building, a gruff but feminine voice echoes across the room. "Barvek, you old devil! As I live and breathe. Tell me you're not so bored you want your old job back?" The Gnome recognizes the voice immediately: Barribelynn Bonebelly, a Dwarf who joined the guard about five years after Barvek did. With a bit of seniority, Barvek helped train the Dwarf in investigative tactics, and the two became fast friends (as immortalized in at least one Upper City tavern, which now sells a liquor called the Bonebelly Gnome). Since his retirement and subsequent employment at Argus, Barvek's ability to grab drinks with Barri have basically evaporated. But seeing her fills the Gnome with glee. She then nods to Hildar. "And tell me -- who's this tall drink of water. It's hot out. I could use a drink of water."
