@Whtknt I'm curious as to your assignment of bonuses to saves... The book shows attribute bonuses starting at 13 but you seem to have them start at 12. Is this an oversight or am I using the wrong ruleset?

Here is what I'm seeing...

Likewise I see Sassafras's fourth character has a -2 to Fort but a 6 stamina should only get you a -1... Maybe there are other modifiers I'm not aware of?

No, it's just that my eyes are getting old and I can't see as well as I used to. The chart is correct.

Right on, just checking ;)

Gall durn.... My two incompetent characters have good hit points and my two decent ones have glass jaws!

Also, I want to be a dwarven mushroom farmer IRL...

Also, is an Elven Barrister actually an elf, or can they be of any race and just learned in elf law?

Sounds like mine. And WK, you're getting just a hint of what you're sight will be like when you get to be my age in 19 years.

I have one eyeball that's sees things close up really well, but can't see anything far away, and one eyeball that can see far away well but can't see anything close up, and I perpetually walking around with one eye or the other closed.
I should get an eye patch I can move back and forth like Jarlaxle.

My cousin is a mushroom farmer and he loves his life. He has a cool farm up in Chico, CA.

Yeah all my characters have 1 to 2 hp and low stamina... I'm hoping Flash lives to become a wizard, maybe a thief at the worst. It's about the only decent shot I have. Maybe Doc will live and be a fighter.

I'm a bit of an amateur mycologist and that's sounds like a good way to live. And Chico seems a pretty good place to live it.

Yeah I can't lie, his gig makes me a little jealous.

Okay...

1) Elven barrister is actually an elf.
2) My wife is 90% blind (glaucoma since age 17) and I serve as her eyes, reading and responding to her email (she dictates responses to me) and driving both her and her father (who can no longer drive safely) around, so at least I'm better off than that. But yeah, getting old sucks rocks.
3) I can honestly say that mushroom farming has never been high on my list of potential jobs. :)
4) What tends to happen in my experience is that players choose one or two characters that they have high hopes for and try to shield them, letting the other two or three take the brunt of damage and risks. Of course, that doesn't always work, and at least one funnel I ran saw the character with the 3 Strength and 5 Stamina and 1 hit point survive all the way through.

I can remember years ago that Chico State was rated by Playboy Magazine as the #1 party school in the nation. Does he actually grow mushrooms or are they 'shrooms? Or does anybody know the difference anymore?

I was living in San Diego for a while and had a buddy that lived way up on Norther California n a toen called Fall River Mills. They have this huge rodeo every year and we were traveling up the I-5, which is this Interstate road up the whole of California, and these two girls from Chico sped up next to us and flashed us their boobies at 90mph, and invited us to come to Chico for a party they were throwing.

We declined because we had a rodeo to check out in Fall River Mills, and had a bunch of drugs waiting for us there, and had a lead on some chicks to chase.

But sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if we had chased the boobies to Chico...

At 17, my father offered to help me finance a new car or a new computer. I often wonder what my life would have been like if I had chosen the car.
