We're looking at a slow week this week, as Mcneils5 is camping. But we're almost certainly in the final encounter of the campaign, so you're welcome to jump back in for the grand finale. Tl;Dr: You, Nekurr, and Hildar are in the water tunnel at the scene of the mining accident. You found Marseen Olond on the scene with some minions in a huge cavern filled with clutches of dragon eggs. As eggs have started exploding and hatching, her allies have all fled or died. It's just you three, a weakened Olond, and... dragon hatchlings now!

If you were just checking in to say hi, no worries at all about rejoining the game. But I wanted to make sure you knew you were welcome to rejoin!

So I was off the site so long I forgot to check the site. Been a minute so what are the odds the Dragon babies don't kill us all? I'd say highish? Everyone else is dead so we make up the narrative no?

My intention is for the dragon whelps to be significant threats, so whether you stay and fight (and hope more don't hatch) is up to you.

Well Hildar has enough Strain left to get one spell off but that'll leave him on 15 out of 16 Strain (unless he can recover any) so I could try blasting the area but with how wonky the area is affecting magic theres always a risk of things going badly awry. The other option is that when it comes back round to him Hildar just tries to Teleport us out of here and we report into whoever will listen about the impending horde of whelps that'll descend on the town.....either that or we 'Leroy Jenkins!' it and go out in a blaze of glory......:)

If we are lucky ... Nekurr may heal some strain .... and wake up another 20 dragons in the process...

it there a was to destroy the cave from outside? We could teleport and then smash the eggs... Maybe I can do a divine blast sort of thing. are they considered... well... the antithesis of luck?

Your characters would recall that the miners were hired because of their expertise in alchemical rock blasting. There are petards and other explosives littered all through the tunnels. So, yeah, run or teleport away and try to get the miners to handle it (which would require them to break their strike), or blast the place yourselves and at least contain the dragons, or see if there's some way to kill them all yourselves using a mix of magic and the explosives. Or something else!

Sorry, oddly enough if you get out of habit of checking the site a few times a day you forget to check. I like the Michael Bay exit theme personally.

Hey, folks. I apologize for the extended absence. I am swamped with RL stuff. :/ I will get on top of things this weekend and update things. We're nearly there, so we may just flash forward to your escape from the tunnels rather than running it as structured-time rounds. More soon, and again, sorry.

@SavageBob - don't sweat it mate, totally get that RL stuff takes priority. I've got a lot on at the moment here as well (we've had a couple of family members pass away after short illnesses in the last few days and my fiancée is waiting to get into the doctors to get some tests for herself as well) so needless to say I've not really been on here a lot myself the last couple of weeks and I don't see the situation changing much for at least the next week or two.

Things are hopefully calming down for me (although now looks like I'm in the path of a hurricane). Hope things ease up for you, Mcneils5. All the best as you cope with losing loved ones, especially in rapid succession.

In the meantime, let's have one last set piece and wrap this campaign up. :)
