Weiryn double-times it to the back door, and begins unbarring it to let them in.

IF YOU CAN HEAR ME, DWARVES, COME TO THIS DOOR! HURRY!
Sep 1, 2016 3:40 pm
Darren is up next.
Sep 1, 2016 3:53 pm
Darren steps out the door of the room that Ireena is in and keeps an eye out for danger, not wanting to leave the lady by herself, just in case.

Suddenly, five wolves come out running out of the mist, maneuvering around the two dwarves to cut off their access to the mansion. Durgrim will see the gleam of malevolent intelligence in their eyes.

The two ones at the back will take aid another maneuvers to help the ones up front, with the one to the side of Durgrim making a simple attack.

Durgrim will be hit for 6 points of damage and his cousin Orin for 8 points. The wolves will now attempt their free trip. I do believe that a CMB of 22 against Durgrim's CMB of 22 + his dwarven traits will fail...

Both wolves yank at the dwarves' ankles, attempting to make them fall, however they fail, simply tearing away fabric and making Orin curse in dwarven, in a manner which would make an ogre blush, at seeing his luxurious outfit getting ripped so...

Ireena is up next.

Rolls

1st wolf aid another (flank).

2nd wolf aid another (flank)

3rd wolf normal attack (no flank)

4th wolf (recipient of aid another and flank)

5th wolf (recipient of aid another and flank) - (1d20+11, 1d6+4)

1d20+11 : (4) + 11 = 15

1d6+4 : (4) + 4 = 8

Trip on Durgrim

Trip on Orim

Sep 1, 2016 9:55 pm
Ireena moves as fast as she can towards the door, to come and lend a hand to the dwarves, drawing her sword while moving.

Orin is up next.

Edit: Oh, before I play Orin, I completely forgot the wolf which was attacking Durgrim without any aid another or flanking bonus still managed to hit him for another 6 points of damage and another free trip attempt... Sorry... I guess a 27 will mean that Durgrim got tripped... the wolf grabbing hold of the dwarf's other ankle. While Durgrim would have laughed at the first wolf's attempt, two wolves attempting to trip him is too much for our brave hero who falls as the wolf thrash its head, ripping some more of Durgrim's clothing in the process, this time, leaving a large piece of fabric in the wolf's mouth...

Rolls

Wolf trip attempt.

Sadly, being a non-combatant, Orin cannot do much. He attempts to shoo the wolves away but the beasts remain unimpressed...

"Cousin! Hold on, help is near! HELP! HELP!"

Ujjaya is up next.

OOC:
Not sure what the rules are, but could Orin lift his cousin back to his feet? Probably would draw an AOO, though.

OOC:
Standing up from prone will definitely draw attacks of opportunities... Also, keep in mind that Orin is a non-combatant, so I rather play him in a way which won't have much bearing on the combat, otherwise I'll have to divide XP between more people... :P

Ujjaya follows Veroth and shoots and looses a hail of arrows at the closest wolf
OOC:

• Moving to H7.
• Targeting wolf closest to the dwarves. Single bowshot without expending ki the attack bonus is +10.
• Perfect Strike: roll two d20s for one bowshot, with the lower roll as crit confirmation if the higher threatens.
• Deadly Aim: -2 attack, +4 damage. (already included)
• Point Blank (target is w/in 30ft): additional +1 to all bow attack & damage rolls. (already included)

@ Jabes: um... so you're shooting through walls?

OOC:
What, no arrow slits?!? Seriously though, I thought Weiryn had opened the door. So I guess Ujjaya opens the door before shooting. Is that possible?

Durgrim uses his hammer to fend off further attacks while he pulls himself up. He utters a short word in dwarfish, and the hammer crackles with electrical energies. He then brings the hammer down on the wolf closest to Orin. "Blasted beasts! Begone with ye'!"
OOC:
The Combat Expertise feat says: "You can only choose to use this feat when you declare that you are making an attack or a full-attack action with a melee weapon." I realize it's a bit of a stretch, but do I gain the +2 in AC for the move action i use to stand up if I declare that I will stand up and then attack? Never the less, Durgrim will get up, then attack with combat expertise. AC including CE is 23

Rolls

Attack: Foegrinder (attack, damage, electicity) - (1d20+10, 2d6+6, 1d6)

1d20+10 : (11) + 10 = 21

2d6+6 : (65) + 6 = 17

1d6 : (2) = 2

OOC:
@Jabes: You are in the front room, the dwarves and wolves are in the back. while Weiryn did opened the back door, he did so after moving. Can you not see the map?

@ azira: You gain the bonus AC starting at the moment you make your attack. If you want your bonus to AC while standing up, you should attack while still prone.

Ujjaya shoots one of the wolves with an arrow, wounding it.

As Durgrim stands up, 4 of the wolves will take their attacks of opportunity, the 5th one simply opting to keep the bloodies piece of cloth it ripped from Durgrim's leg in its mouth.
OOC:
depending on whther Durgrim decided to attack before or after standing up will determine how many wolves will hit.

Rolls

1st attack of opportunity

2nd attack of opportunity

3rd attack of opportunity

4th attack of opportunity

Sep 4, 2016 7:55 pm
OOC:
Ok. In that case, Durgrim will attack before getting up, with another -4 to attack for being prone. You want me to roll the attack roll again?
Sep 4, 2016 8:43 pm
OOC:
Nah, we'll just apply the penalty. which wolf are you attacking?
