Grom feels the falsehood of the man’s response in his gut. The druid stops abruptly and throws out his hands to impede the advance of his colleagues. "Stop!", he yells. "It is a trap, this man speaks falsehoods". Grom begins to slowly back away

Igbork draws his bow and aims at the man. Explain yourself or feel my cold iron tipped arrow
He remembers that Kelpie's are vulnurable to cold iron and if this thing is a Kelpie in disguise he may scare it with his threateven though he doesn't have an cold iron tipped arrow...

The creature seems to concentrate on something and Igbork sees it suddenly as a beautiful black stallion.
OOC:
Igbork must make a Will saves (if anyone gets bonus vs Enchantment, Primal, Emotion or Mental effects they may apply that bonus).

The DC is 24 and how you act will depend on the result:

"Better get at it, Haitith, before this thing starts trying to mess with our minds. Who knows what kind of magic it wields beyond crafting illusions!" They both move into better positions and Haitith strikes at the creature.

Grom looks at Igbork and is momentarily perplexed, but then he suddenly realises that he is probably enchanted. "Igbork, no!"
OOC:
If the GM will allow it, Grom will cast Tanglefoot upon Igbork. With his remaining action, Grom will attempt to Trip Igbork as he rushes past him.

If not, Grom will move into the river and cast Animal Allies and have the fish in the river attack the Kelpie

Haitith charges at the big creature, but it is able to avoid the eidolon’s attacks.

Igbork starts moving towards the kelpie, but Grom says a few magic words and a vine appears out of the ground slowing his movement. He barely makes it to the shore, where Grom is unsuccessful in tripping his companion. The water seems to make Igbork return to his senses.

Harbinna draws a shortbow and moves forward letting loose with an arrow at the kelpie.

Atticus moves into the water and throws his spear at the creature before drawing his sword. The spear makes a big gash as it hits, causing pain to the creature.

Meanwhile, the creature tries to lure Habrinna towards him with an illusion before biting Haitith. It hits and Koram can feel pain through his psychic connection. This is a strong creature.

Koram moves farther to the edge of the overlooking cliff while Haitith continues to attack the creature, then he throws his hands up and summon lightning to strike the creature in the water.

As Koram's lightening manifests, Grom howls wildly, and begins to wade into the water. Steadying himself, he draws and unleashes a javellin at the Kelpie.
OOC:
Grom will wade in the water so as to bring the Kelpie within 30' - the range of the Javelin (if possible, that is!)

Haitith's strike misses once again as the kelpie quickly ducks underwater to avoid the effect of Koram's spell. Grom however throws the spear with pinpoint accuracy hitting the creature hard.

Igbork lets loose with two arrows which both hit their target. The creature screams in pain and anger.

Habrinna moves trance-like towards the creature, but in the water she too comes to her senses.

Atticus closes the distance, strikes once before raising his shield. It’s obvious the creature is more used to moving about in the water as it easily dodges his blow.

The kelpie bites first at Atticus then at Haitith. The first strike is a mighty one, and if it hadn’t been for his shield, it would have been a mightier hit. The eidolon is able to avoid another bite though.
